My wife and I are very excited for the West (Patton)/Allen DC couple and we are looking forward to season 7 with an all out tear jerking wedding and a very sensual scene between the Barry and iris! This couple really represent love, team work, honor and respect for each other! Candice Patton has really made the character Iris alive and believable.

Supergirl/Kara is my favorite arrowverse character. But Iris started to become annoying (when she met Felicity), She is a Mary Sue (A chatacter that can do no wrong), and dosen't have a clear path (Journalist to Team Flash Leader to Journalists Again to Stuck in a Mirror). So case in point I don't have an issue with Candice she seems like a nice person and is just doing a job but Iris is just being written in a way that she shouldn't be written in. For me I prefer Catlin but not because she is white but because she has grown and I find Frost very funny and cool (no pun intended). Catlin this season however is not my Catlin (This is due to Danielle being pregnant).

Fun interview and terrific show. I am really getting tired of the vitriol directed at Candice/Iris though. The show has been on for six years. If you are still mad because a black woman is playing Iris, you don't like Candice as an actor, you don't like Iris as a character, you think Barry would be better with Caitlyn, blah, blah blah; that's just too effing bad. You lost. Barry and Iris are married. Millions of people like the show and like them. Neither the show nor the West/Allens are going anywhere. Watch the show, don't watch the show, no one cares. Just shut up.

Them renewing their vows would seem appropriate. They've missed a lot of time together as husband and wife this season, since in the first half, they have Crisis hanging over their heads, and even once that's in their rearview mirror (no pun intended), they get even less time together because Iris soon becomes trapped in the Mirrorverse, and they haven't figured out how to get her out by the end of 6x19, which ended up being the season finale. If the virus hadn't screwed up production and we'd have gotten the planned season finale (which I heard was supposed to have a "major Thawne cliffhanger"), would Iris have still been in the Mirrorverse at the end of the season? I'm curious how the story would've gone if they'd gotten the full season as originally intended. Another thing; after the season was shortened, I read something via the Arrowverse wiki saying that when they got Barry's artificial Speed Force to work, it would come with a big sacrifice. In 6x19, they mentioned that the new Speed Force isn't finished, so was the "big sacrifice" about Barry's artificial Speed Force something from the original plans for the end of the season; ultimately not happening because they wound up ending with 6x19? All that being said, I recently heard that the three episodes that would've finished out season 6 will now allegedly serve as the first three episodes of season 7. I expect the story wouldn't change too much, but, with it now serving as the season premiere, I wonder if they'd just have the series pick up right where 6x19 left off (like how the beginning of season 5 picked up seconds after season 4 ended), or if there's a gap of time written into the story; with Eva at large for a month or two in-universe after the events of 6x19.

omg is it just me or is candice’s personality and the way she talks so different from iris’s? makes me recognize her talent as an actress even more
