I think if he just let it go and let people suffer he would not be a true hero.

It wasn't their greatest plan, but I never thought of it as being that dumb. Yes Zoom was dying, but unless my memory is fuzzy, there was no timeline given for how long that would take if they just let him be. And you have to figure that Barry, being who he is, couldn't stop thinking about how much havoc someone like Zoom could wreak in so short a time, how many people he would kill. Better to do something about it while you can, and he thought he could. And he could have, like, the plan was solid, until they got the boot on Zoom and THEN they started acting stupid.

Barry wouldn't let Zoom have access to destroying a whole other Earth if he has a way to stop him. Which he thought he did. Barry thought he wouldn't be able to get out of the boot. We saw how Barry was when he caused the Joe of Earth 2 to die, we saw that he didn't care if they were from another earth he just cares about everyone, that is who Barry is. So Barry isn't just going to let Zoom have free rain to kill everyone on that earth.

This was a great way to set up for the season finale

If he didn’t care about the other earths just because they’re not his then he wouldn’t be a hero. He would just be a selfish man who let an entire world be terrorized by someone when he had the chance to stop them. With great power comes great responsibility. He’s risking his life for people he doesn’t know. That’s what makes him a good person. He does the same thing every time he saves the city. In a city of millions of people do you think he personally knows every single one of them? Of course not. But he still risks his life to save them. He doesn’t have to personally know someone to want to do the right thing. That just means he’s a good person and not a selfish person who only cares about himself and the people around him like you want him to be. If you ever get the chance to do charity work or anything whatsoever to help people please take it. Might shock you to find out that even people you’ve never met matter to someone and their lives matter. Everyone matters to someone and we should learn to have more compassion for people and their struggles

Not even the same thing. I have done a lot of charity work. That is not a good comparison to an alternate universe.

It wasn't a stupid plan but barry just SITTING there and CHIT-CHATTING w zoom after capturing him instead of LOCKING him up in the pipeline was crazy levels stupid

The first 2 seasons of this were good

I remember the promo trailer for this episode, when Zoom is saying he doesn't care about who he kills, in the promo he pretty much whispered the "no I dont" part. Personally I found that way creepier and more effective than him shouting it

Barry just didn't want zoom to continue hurting earth 2. Yes it was stupid he could have thought of a better plan. He isn't the fastest person lol reverse flash is. He even mentioned it with the speed mirage and not being fast enough.

They didn't know it was possible to overpower the dampening effects of the boot. They thought once it was on him that things were done.

What I don't understand is why Barry didn't fight Zoom as soon as Wally was released. I mean he is faster than him at this point of the story so supposedly as long as he have him in sight he could stop him before he try anything to harm someone or try to run away.

I know you still got a lot of episode until then and maybe the answer is obvious but how are you gonna put the crossovers episode? Is it still gonna be one every 2 or 3 days or will you upload all the episode of a crossover on the same day? I know you have to edit and all so it take work and time, but I was just wondering 🤔 Ps:I love your reactions to the arroverse and can't wait to have your opinion on the later seasons!

The schedule of Arrowverse is still the same. it was talked about early on in making the show. The only reason things would vary from the original schedule is because of issues.

Plus if he left him alone in earth 2 he might have found a way back over anyway

They should have called Oliver. After they caught Zoom he would have killed him on the spot! There's no way to hold Zoom - there's just not.
