I agree but there are some close others, Seasons 4 and 5 both had an episode that was very well done

Everyone was supportive of barry going back and saving his mother because thawne was the one who initially changed the timeline. Barry's dad said there is a natural order in life, he is right but thawne took away the natural order when he time travelled to the past

Yeah exactly the timeline they're living in is not natural so I've got a question,if this isn't how things were meant to be originally then why did the future flash let thawn kill his mother?

@@thegamingninja3578spoiler alert , so basically thawne was a fan of flash , so he created his own speed , and one day thawne was trying to save the people , but barry was already there to save the day , so he humiliated thawne and embarrassed him , and he had that hatred towards Barry and so thawne went back in time to kill the young barry , but future barry saves his younger self . Then thawne decided to kill his mother instead . That’s why the timeline is fucked , The original Barry/timeline was in 2020 but our present/timeline is not original because it happened before 2020 , and so in my mind that original timeline was erased from existence.

@@thegamingninja3578 Thawnes original plan was to go back in time and kill Barry as a child. That's why future Barry is seen running young Barry out of the house. Thawne then tried to create a tragedy so horrible (killing his mom and blaming his dad) in hopes that Barry would never recover from the tragedy and thus never would become the Flash, but obviously that plan did not work either

and Barry knows that if he were to go back in time and save his mother, everything in his life would change. His mother being killed is a "fixed point" in the timeline and cannot be changed

@@lukehyatt685 I know all that stuff and it's fine but what happened to the timeline where barry became the flash in 2020. Yes I know it got erased but it did exist at one point.

Technically they were all in favor of Barry RESTORING the timeline since Thawne changed it in the first place by murdering Nora Allen. The whole of the show so far has not taken place in the alpha timeline.

Glad you enjoyed season 1! As you'll find later, Time is a very frequent discussion lol. Season 2 is usually tied or closely winning again season 1 so I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

I honestly liked both season 2 and 3. I know season 3 definitely got some hate but i personally enjoyed it.

U can never restore a timeline just try to revert it as much as possible.

The reason everyone is so onboard with changing the timeline is because Barry’s mom was never actually meant to die, the Flash and the Reverse Flash that was at Barry’s house the night his mother was murdered came from a future where Barry’s mom was never killed, that’s why Thawne kills his mom because he failed at killing younger Barry, so everyone there just assumes that the timeline would not change that much considering that in the original timeline, Barrys mom was still alive

goodish? Season 2 was almost as good as 1. 3 was ok, 4 was pretty painful, 5 was hot garbage, 6A was actually pretty good, 6B was about the same as 4, the entirety of 7 was worse than I ever imagined possible, and 8 was better, but not good.

I don't think time travel works this way, or at least I would hope not. The paradoxes it could allow, and it would be catastrophic. I prefer the notion that everything thing is set, and nothing can be changed. If you try to change something, you fail.

The way time travel works in this show is the same as the animated movie Flashpoint paradox as explained by reverse flash in said movie "when you brake the sound barrier it creates a sonic boom. You broke the time barrier flash, time boom ripples of distortion radiated out from that point of impact alter everything just a tiny bit, but enough."

I don't think you really understand Barry's plight or why everyone's supporting the choice. If Eobard Thawne wasn't from the future that'd be one thing but he is from the future and already changed the timeline when he murdered Barry's mother disrupting what's considered the "natural order". Remember Eobard told Wells before murdering him that he and his wife were supposed to create the particle accelerator in 2020 Starling City not 2013 Central City meaning Barry wasn't supposed to become the Flash for another 7 years. So effectively Barry's entire life is the result of Thawne disrupting the "natural order" so wanting to go back and correct this particular event is completely understandable since it wasn't supposed to happen in the first place. But of course as pointed out losing his mother led to him gaining a new family and now friends and there's no assurance that'll remain the same if he does go back which is the dilemma. Think how you'd feel if you learned if the biggest tragedy you suffered was the result of a lunatic from the future who wanted to spite you for something you hadn't done yet, meaning said tragedy wasn't supposed to happen then you get the chance to correct it. What would you do?

You could also watch Vixen "the series" as a movie. That's what I always do. I didn't even know it was a 'show' until I looked it up. But I'm pretty sure it's the same thing and you could watch it as a movie, which is only like an hour long. (maybe 2) Also-- you could watch it on youtube.

@@juyahmad not really jealousy, Flash was Thawne's hero so he always wanted to be like the Flash, but one day Thawne went to the future and saw something that made him see that he could never be like The Flash and after that happened it broke him mentally and he went insane so that's why he's The Flash's Archenemy.
