Shannon looked and felt like he didn't want to be there or was unsatisfied with what he was doing. Love him as an actor, but his performance did nothing masterful.

I kinda feel bad for Michael Shannon. You can tell by his performance as Zod that he didn't want to be a part of the movie. Not because he hated the character, but because to him, it felt disrespectful to Zack Snyder's vision. I'll hand it to him; he's loyal.

Zod looks like a 1/6th scale toy come to life.

1:31 this grunt is used 3 times in man of steel, one when he kicks Clark, one with the right hook before the big uppercut and the final one when he is climbing up the building lol I know that grunt anywhere.

Shannon didnt even understand what they were doing,he understood it was nonsense. He even said so and said Man Of Steel was an actual character study. I respect that man a lot,his performance as Zod in Man Of Steel is one of the best superhero performances. Its normal for Sasha to be more passionate,she is younger and this is her first big role and she is playing SUPERGIRL.

0:14 Sasha Calle’s acting was just plain awesome

I hope that in James Gunn's reboot, we get to see Kara meet Kal all grown up. It's a shame that we'll never get to see Sasha and Henry work together as Superman and Supergirl. Sasha hoped that she made Henry proud and he said she did. I hope those two get to work on some movie in the future together outside DC.

Exactly. Only the original Jurassic Park had excellent CG. Literally every other film in existence did NOT. The Flash made up for it with an exceptional story, characters and emotion. Three elements more important than effects, something no MCU movie or series ever had.

This just wasn't a very good movie. It's so weird because the actors did a great job, the director seemed to do a great job but the movie itself just wasn't very good.

Explain something for me: Speedsters have been shown to create different lightning trails depending on their connection to the speed force, which corresponds to their speed. In order from slowest to fastest it's red, yellow, blue and white. Does that mean in this scene Young Barry is faster and has a stronger speed force connection than Current Barry despite Barry having more experience? Also, does this mean Barry has downgraded in speed from Snyder's Justice League? In that one, he emits white lightning, indicating the purest connection to the speed force. The same happens in the scene where he saves the child but not the dad. So what the heck is happening here? Young Barry is faster, but then Barry becomes faster for Justice League but then heavily downgraded to only the 2nd purest speed force connection in this film?

Michael Shannon was amazing as general Zod in man of steel hopefully we get to see more comic accurate movies in the next coming years from DC comics no killing the bad guys just beating them to a bloody coma batman style
