Am reminded of Carl Sandburg’s description of seagulls, in his poem ‘The Harbour.. except that yours are masses of pink wonders on a ‘ blue burst of a lake’ . ....!Here are the lines: And a fluttering storm of gulls, Masses of great gray wings And flying white bellies Veering and wheeling free in the open’ oh, to be able to ascend, balance the elements within and without , fly/travel light and finally , ever so gently, alight with ‘flamingo ‘ grace ,in one’s life journey ! In one frame, the birds in flight look like stick drawings of the first aircraft by the Wright brothers... you always get it right, dearest Ken ... and the divine music is in sync with every frame ... marvellous!

Fun fact: Flamingos get their pink colour as they age in life as it comes from the algae they eat.

It takes at least 5 years for them to turn Pink, the juveniles are greyish white. :)
