I mean... I love taunting at the beginning. It's like bow to your enemy before fighting just like most of physical martial arts sports.

I feel like you could update this for a 6th addition. weapon starvers. like a throw pro who prioritises every weapon spawn over fighting just to ensure youre stock is useless by the time you get one unless you get good rng weapon spawn. Yeah unarmed is a thing but youre still at a dissadvantage unarmed and that can be a pretty disheartening thing to have to overcome. Its just not fun.

everytime i fight a diamond they are always running back i noticed this when i was silver

As a Mako main I do fit in the category of the spammer, just because greatsword dashing is just really fun to pull it off, but after getting into a lobby with 3 Makos I realized how freaking annoying that is and so I started desenvolving some combos on my own and im doing pretty good actually

Hate it when they chase you round the platform like a wasp and don’t let you even get a weapon and only focus on you and no one else in a 4 person match

Lmfao the passive king clip is a great example. Whenever I stop attacking to see how passive my opponent is, they start dash dancing repeatedly to act like they are good or something. Great video Lucian! 😃

I only use the throw pro “strat” when my opponent’s main method of attacking is sigs or if he tries to pick up a weapon

As someone that just got the game this week i will say that as a beginner i spam just one or 2 moves since thats all i currently know how to use effectively, i realize its not the best battle strategy but its the best i currently have. Its also the best way to learn knew combos and moves just spamming them nonstop until its second nature

i think the: "ez nub" should be there too, they normally are smurfs who only care to make new ppl feel that they are so bad at the game that they need to give up... that's just sad

For example me, my pc was my father's pc, but he bought a better one for him and gave me the old, but that hapenned with my friends too, leavin they all with a little money and a bad computer, mine's for example, just ramdomly open one drive while im in a match and my pc just start to run brawlhalla very slowly and it makes bad ppl (normally spammers win against me) and they are a part of the community that fits where i said, still they are not smurfs, or even good, they just be like: "gg ez nub, u so bad u must be playing on a frickin cellphone lol"...

I liked the video. I definitely give it a thumbs up. When I play, I normally play either free-for-all or Ranked 1x1. My play style: in FFA it’s every person for him or her self. For every person, you’re fighting 1 against 3, so it’s a fight for survival. HOWEVER, in Rnk1x1, It is 1 on 1 tournament style. For me, that is Honorable Combat. I follow 3 personal rules. 1)If you have a weapon, let your opponent pick up a weapon, and give them enough room to do so. 2a)Never attack an unarmed opponent UNLESS they attack you first. 2b)If they Do attack you without a weapon, Don’t bring the heat unless the won’t take the hint. 3)Once you are both are in equal positions(both armed or both unarmed), it’s on. So once your opponent grabs their weapon, bring the heat. I call this style “honorable warriors”. My son says that I am being too nice. Is being too nice annoying?

there is also "the runner aka Forrest Gump guy" who is very simmular to the passive king, but he doesn't wait for u, he just run away from u hole match and gets free hits on you when u are tired of playing this match

Already met all of these, I just started playing like 2 weeks ago.

I myself try to vairy my attacks, but, when someone spams against me you best believe that the cannonballs will rain down on them Edit: Cannonballs solve wall hugger people also

It’s the worst when you’re on Xbox and they go out of their way to dm you saying that you’re trash or a noob etc etc, I usually ask what they hope to achieve by insulting me but they usually never respond or just say “cause you’re trash”. But my biggest pet peeve is when you block them and they use an alternative account just to annoy you even more

No, honor doesn't exist. It's a game. Weapon starving is a very good strategy. If you can't pick up a weapon then technically is your fault to not knowing how to punish that behaviour

@Logan Shaver uh I have a few things to say, first of all, if you wanna practice you should go in ranked where people actually "start playing". Because fighting someone weaker than you won't make you stronger. I don't weapon starve in experimental even cuz I don't like playing passive or just dumb. I agree with you in being annoying but winning (or just having fun) is the purpose of the game. I wouldn't hate on someone who does it in experimental but I don't do it cuz I find it dumb (I agree with you on that point). If you wanna train or anything you should go in ranked. After all you can't "hope" to find someone weaker than you to go from tin to silver/to gold/platinum/diamond

Speaking of BMers, I joined the Brawlhalla League Discord, greeted by someone saying the game was not good and then proceeded to call me smartass because he told me to "just play the game" and when I said that that's it not enough to learn better core mechanics, then he proceeded to call me names, another guy decided it was good to call me a "clown" because of it. I've been playing the game for 2 days! And it already feels like it's full of elitists and people who can't understand there's new people sometimes.

I unlocked it after i was absolutely destroyed, so i thought that the game i was teasing me

I'm the type of guy to let them get a weapon after I kill them, even if I'm losing in ranked. Edit: Bruh this is the most likes I've ever got and every time I check. I have more likes and replies thanks lads

It's so annoying when your opponent picks up and throws every weapon after you respawn. :/ I always play fairly... Unless I've already lost 5 games in a row and I'm raging af. lol

Awhile back I broke my right joycon, so sometimes I randomly emote. It's super annoying, and either causes me to look like a obnoxious player or gets me hit.

1: Spammers 2: Hackers 3: ODers (because nothing can be sacred.) 4: Toxic People 5: *Orion Mains*

Whenever someone taunts me, I beat them a bunch then continue to taunt to give a Taste of there own medicine. Petty, but effective .

This is why i play experimental 1v1. Of the person I'm fighting is annoying i can just leave.

You forgot the siblings the people who join online games with their siblings and wait for us to leave or they choose the same character and spam with that character

I don't mind when people attack during opening salute, some people just wanna get to it and get it over with

I'm probably going to start spamming because I've realized I like, never use signature attacks in my matches. So I might start spamming to remind myself that they're there. To balance out my spamming with absent use.

I feel like the “Passive King” can also derive from a place of good will. To a degree. I know for me, I accidentally fall into this habit out of sportsmanship. In wait until both players are really ready to engage and sometimes even wait for us both to have a weapon. Not because I’m trying to waste time or ruin their fun, but because I want an equal duel where we can both walk away, no matter who wins, a little less salty about something.

Yeah I have some games where we just keep throwing the weapons and items off the map and have a fist fight, way more intense than weapon duels (doesn't help that i'm at a poin tin the game where it's either people who sig spam and you sometimes get someone willing to try actual combos)

I'm doing this sometimes, but maybe 10% of players respect this. Even on fucking 1v1 train games where both are trying to train (new weapon, new legend). More you win the game, less sportsmanship you have :(

As a player of brawlhalla I can relate to the first type of player because since I'm not as good at the game I lose to spammers all the time in ranked which I find enraging.

I used to be a spammer I only noticed when my friend said that I keep attacking air

Yall ever get those players that You enter a game. You get the first weapon, you go in to attack and they just keep bouncing and dodging all over the platform, and you can't hit them. And then you just have to wait for the 2nd weapon spawn for the fight to start
