Longhorn isn't bad but it's not consistent I've had good and bad experiences at different locations. The steaks are definitely under weight too.

I'm glad I live out in the country I can drive with in 5 minutes of my house and get a steak I seen in a field eating grass a week ago

Amarillo, Big Texan off of I-40. It's a famous restaurant, they have FREE 72oz steak if you can eat it with all the sides in within one hour.

@@MrTheroot54 the experience I had with my party was horrible. Even the mannequins were complaining the steak was horrible. My wife’s friends husband asked for rare and they said the lowest they go is med rare. That was the first start of the dinner.

You can still get a prime rib dinner like that in Vegas for well under $20, and there is still at least one place that offers a 99¢ shrimp cocktail, but it will have small shrimp. On the whole though, restaurant prices are indeed more expensive than ever. But you could say that about the entire economy, not just Vegas.

@trekkeruss ,true. I live in a small(compared to Vegas) Texas town and restaurant prices are expensive. I loved Vegas of years ago. Now it's just too crowded for me,of course I am 72 most places are!

I love tomahawk steak it’s a nice little gimmick, but how they treat it in dry age it matters everything. If you’re going that direction I would always remember $100-$200 per person. Sounds like a good meal if you’re going all out. I like the way you point out the different options and what you’re gonna get into just ordering it. And making people aware of what a gimmick is in Vegas.

I can purchase and cook the same meat myself for a fraction of the price. Also I was able to purchase a lot of these same steaks in some super nice restaurants in Peru for literal pennies on the dollar.

SRF's beef is really good. The best I've ever had. They are definitely proud of it. Only worth it for special occasions. I got my father one for Father's Day. He shared it with my mom and both said it was the best they've ever had.

fyi you can buy direct from snake river farms; i do every once in a while for fun. their cheapest wagyu is a 10oz new york strip for $65 which is still better than USDA prime and honestly the best steak i've ever had.

Vaca vieja means “Old Cow” in Spanish for those wondering wth she said 😂 It’s a clever name for dry-aged steaks I feel

I think for most of us who have taken a once in a lifetime trip to Vegas and ate at a great steakhouse on the strip pre pandemic the prices were vegas-expected prices. Now that they have almost doubled it will be less likely that middle class people will spend the money. I think those days are forever behind us.

Never had steak & I'm totally fine with pork chops especially with hearing all these prices.
