Put that baby in Hyper lol. Such a nice vehicle to drive! Once they get that software cleaned up, it's gonna sell great.

I hope they do something with the software of the display above the steering. It seems so basic and backdated, like no effort was put into it. I find it handy to have Maps, tires, charging, trip info showing in that space. It needs a revamp...

@@K9Trixx The software in general is very glitchy and Fisker certainly has some work to do to get it straightened out.

Excellent review of this vehicle, one of the best I’ve seen so far. I also have an Ocean Ultra on order….. Received my VIN # 12/15/23. I test drove it last Summer and knew instantly I had to have one. Can’t wait for it to be my daily driver 🚙😎

Thanks for the test drive. We have a Sport trim on order. Took a test drive last month and it was smooth sailing. Build is solid and styling is cutting-edge.

finally a Fisker Ocean POV

Nice review. Love my Ocean One! (BTW, not sure if all EV’s can but the Fisker has 3 levels of regenerative braking. Low is almost none. High is almost one pedal driving. Medium is medium. I’m getting spoiled using High. But you should set it to Low once in a while to “clean” the brakes and to get experience of stopping the car using the excellent brakes.)

Unfortunately I only had a few hours with it, but my friend did explain that there were different settings for the regenerative breaking. But I really wanted to get the POV video out because I saw there weren’t any else on KZread

Most testers say that the Hyper mode is very close to the Boost mode (acceleration, etc) , so you really do not need to use the Boost mode that much.. Were there any negative issues you found with the EV (like a handful of other reviewers have pointed out (some incorrectly))?

I have a more detailed walkaround review video coming next week where I mention some of the issues. If you're referring to the controversial MKBHD video, I do think he brought up some valid points and I did encounter a few of the same issues that he did.

@@OpticalAutomotive My understanding is that most if not all of the issues he raised could be addressed via software updates....assuming they are still around to make those updates.

they aren't a car company, they aren't a software company, they do project management and supply chain management - poorly. They outsourced everything. We will see if they can make it in a competitive market.

Can tell by the lackluster display software, especially above the steering wheel. I love the gimmicky elements that make it stand out... But then they also skimmed on basic features you'd come to expect.

MKBHD Said this car sucks. Hard pass.
