I travelled to Turkey 2 years ago and an hour after I arrived in Istanbul I heard the evening call to prayer at the Blue Mosque - gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes, it was so magical and moving. I will never forget hearing it for that very first time. The next day I visited the mosque and was given a copy of the Quran which I treasure.

The most beautiful sound I have ever heard. Literally the voice of heaven. The English translation of the adhan is: God is Great! God is Great! God is Great! God is Great! I bear witness that there is no god except the One God. This girl is adorable, her pure hart is precious. My grandson is used to hear athan and one time we were at the playground, athan started on my phone, he kept playing but reminded me: Nana, Allah is calling you, you need to pray. I told him we need to go home so I can pray and he said: it's ok Nana, don't worry, Allah will call you again. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I was working as a police officer in one oi the most crime ridden cities with the highest murder rate at that time in this country.. Trust me we all have stories to tell except mine are REAL. After her father said 'What do you think?", I just loved the way she calmly looked at her palm/fingers and as if she started counting the digits like when we're doing the dzikir, as well as looking upwards as if towards the heavens. The whole thing looked so natural, as if those action of hers were the answer to her father's question.

In Islam, the fitrah is the idea of the uncorrupted, natural inner disposition. Part of the fitrah is the unlearned inclination towards the Creator, being in awe of Him, loving and adoring Him. All children are born with the fitrah, and it's only society that changes and distorts and suppresses the fitrah as people age.

As a Christian this still warms my soul. God bless my Muslim brothers and sisters. And this sweet little girl too.

@@petej4752 Million people accepted Islam after 9/11 because they hated Islam, just like you do now. Search for Joram van Klaveren or Richard McKinney. Few days ago Marine EL Himer and Andrew Tate also became Muslim. They become Muslim, because they started to read the Quran to find out, if Islam actually is a religion of hate. Instead of listening to others or watching some youtube video about hating Islam, read the Quran. I challenge you to do that. If Allah wills, you will change your mind. At least you will find peace of mind after reading Quran, I can guarantee you that.

@@md.mohsin6039 If you look at history then you will see peole like and trust things who are wrong. Thats normal. If we look at those who follow i-SLAM how many of those have read the quran? How many can read? and how many can read arabic as you clame you have to if you want to understand the quran correct. So all in all not many of those who follow i-SLAM know the full text. Look up how many people who have left i-SLAM. Most of those who join are x-boxers and cRApere. Many will leave i-SLAM again when they find out what it realy are. In Scandinavia we are too educated to fall for that lie. So I haven't read Harry Potter but I think I will find more truth in that book than in the quran.

The first time for me , I felt on the ground .. crying , then I knew that This is HOME this is My Lord , Who I was looking for my whole life ! felt like drinking water for the first time ... like seeing Light for the very first time , anD HIS présence was so clear , for such Mercy and kindness , and love , such goodness , I have never felt in my life , not even from my family or parents . I'll never forget the 1st time I heard the call to prayer in Dubai. I was walking around and ad soon as it started on it was like the sound went right through me. It stopped me, overwhelmed me, it was within and around me yet didn't feel new or foreign. It felt like a part of me. I looked around and thank God there was a bench I could sit down on. Something about it arrested my attention regardless of what I was doing. For all 3 years I loved it every time and it always made me feel at peace.

As a grandchild of Sicilian immigrants, we were raised devoutly Catholic...but the Muslim call to prayer is just so beautiful to hear. It really has a calming effect on me. I don't know what it is or how to explain it. It has made me cry before.

I swear by Allah several years ago I noticed that my 1 to 2 year old kids would stop everything their doing and listen to the call to prayer no matter if its the most amzing toy, electronics, etc. I even tried to distract them when they listen but they turn their heads to were the sound of the call to prayer is even if its much lower in sound then the toy they are playing with, subhanAllah. I encourage all non-Muslims to have your baby or toddler hear the Call to prayer and see how they react, Its Amazing we believe all children are Muslim in that they are pure and submit their will to God, Peace.

When I heard this 5 times a day and knew it meant they would stop everything and pray, I was convicted in my spirit as a Christian that I wasn't praying enough in my own faith! You should hear the mu'adhin of my original neighborhood in Tunis calling people to الصبح prayer. Hearing that at dawn around 4am almost sounds...magical. I could never forget his voice. :(
