Hey Monica I will do my 1st PoP-up in my drive way the end of the month. You encouraged me. I'm a Poshmark re-seller so it will be those items. I aslo do DIY smalls home decor along with wholesale new items. My daughter is an artist so I will display her art for sale. I invited friends to join me the area is large enough for more than myself. Nervous but getting ready day by day. Thank you for your example and how to videos. Let you know how it goes:-*

Watching your videos, I always get the feeling that you put so much care and love into them. I appreciate all the little details that I feel you put a lot of thought into, like the choice of music, the cut... And also the products that you make. I think this is the essence of handmade things. High quality items made with lots of love and thought.

Can I give you a suggestion, a small hand steamer will be beneficial. To quickly steam your table cloth so it can look nice and crisp like the rest of your display.

Its amazing how u got help this time setting up 👏 when people see ur serious, they take u serious… ok now as a fashion designer (new) seeing that u are a fashion designer too, know that im not suggesting u be something your not, but It is in my opinion that if you swag out your look a lil better, rather its wearing ur sewn clothes, giving ur hair more body, and just wowing people, that may help sales. i know u have a bf, but showing ur beauty isnt cheating, and as beautiful as the set up is, I dought customers can see how amazingly beautiful you are w baggy clothes and hair undone.. PLEASE DONT BE OFFENDED❤❤❤ It took me awhile to care about presentation too cause of my natural beauty, bt youd be surprised how your physical presentation as well as your set up will stop the crowd… Im not saying dress up as if your going to prom (thou im extra i prob would lbs) bt u get what Im saying. Your pretty, show your beautiful hair done, your figure ( and u dont have to dress like a thot to show your figure, so no i aint sayin that lbs)… Hopefully my advice helped and not offended.. Good Luck ive learned so much watching you as i start my fashion line and enjoy your videos. Keep going 💪 🧡💜❤️❤️

I’m doing my first makers market in 13 days and freaking out! This video is perfect timing especially when you mentioned shopify pos app. I downloaded it straight away cuz of you!! How did you get people to tap to your phone to pay without the additional card reader attached to it?

Thank you for this video! I did my first popup shop last Christmas in our area here in Germany. For my first try, i would say it was a success but you are right in most aspects about the preparations :) The only difference is the payment method. Here, people tend to pay in cash more than using their debit or credit cards. So I was happy i didnt buy the card reader device else it would be a waste since there is totally no need for it. All the best to you, Monica 🙂

Im seriously considering popups. Ive been trying to decide between Wix & Shopify for my online presence. I would suggest always having cash for change in case your cellphone crashes and you have to do a cash sale. I would also keep your card reader as backup. For those attending craft fairs/farmers markets in the country loosing cell coverage can happen. Yes, customers may come through and not buy anything but that doesn't mean they aren't interested. I've checked out booths when i didn't have the extra money to shop but will talk to the vendor, take a business card and later buy from them online or catch them at their next event.

Do you make everything from scratch? The candles the scrunchis and everything else? Also can you expand the Shopify pos, how does that work when you’re selling in person, do you have to update your online inventory every time someone buys in person
