Hey, some tips when sewing with silk, use a 100% polyester thread that’s really thin and use a really thin needle like a universal size 60-70. Your needle and thread are probably too thick. That’s probably the reason it’s puckering. Silk is awful to work with so persevere gal and you’ll get it.

My bachelorette was small and at my sis in law's house. We were crafty and had a yummy meal with wine and they gifted me lingerie. It was cute. Decor is a sore topic bc like you I agree it can be wasteful. The decor didn't add anything to my bachellorette or any bachellorette I've been to. If you are subtle with it it can be cute but if you are over the top it can be too much work for nothing :)

When you are obsessed with thrifting and know the store by seeing the tag alone. My favourite thrift store ever

I got extremely sick the day I was supposed to do bachelorette activities. Which was 1 week before the wedding so it became a question of whether or not I was well enough to get married at one point 🫣 I was also 8 months pregnant lollll so a crazy time overall but it all came out perfect in the end 😁

Having the shirt down long looks very elegant. Up at your hips is a more fun look

Just add a great long chunky necklace to the white top and it would look so good!
