​@@whiteshadow4605Oh shush, it's just a defensive mechanism of HoV copers. I can only see 12S HoV players(or whales, you might say) on Nirvana staying at 19-20/20 briefly until they switch to the usual meta stuff and clash with top 100 Myriad, typical HoV true worshipers.

Well its not a Herrscher but something similar, its does have own core, which acts like Herrscher core , this is why u put ('Herrscher ')

Considering that the Shadows seem to be a manifestation of Honkai energy (as stated by Corolie) and the Astral Ring seems to be a means of controlling and manipulating Honkai energy (considering the Honkai coruption Sena got from overusing her Astral Ring), what Songque becomes seems to be very close to a Herrscher. The main difference between say the Herrschers we have seen so far and Songque is that an artifical tool was used to create a singularity.

​@@brynphillips9957spoiler: i think the actual herrscher isnt songque, but perception. but its hinted at that songque and jue (im gonna call perception by her chinese name because its shorter) are 2 ends of the same "coin" (rupert's drop glass). songque is the thin end, while jue is the thick end. no matter how hard you hit jue, she cant and wont die. its apparent and stated that shes practically omnipotent. meanwhile songque is the opposite end, where shes nothing extraordinary and actually very weak. but if hit hard enough (killed) will create a chain reaction so big it'll destroy the thick end easily.

@@ch.7785 Spoiler: I know that much but this character acts and talks like Songque and having seen the phase 3 ending of this current chapter, I have a feeling Songque ends up taking over the authorities (and perhaps physical form) of perception through the Astral Ring. Otherwise this character ends up being a bit weird because the personality and the skill set never belonged to the same person prior to the end of Chapter 3. Anyway, until we see the prologue, I have a feeling we won't have a clear answer as to exactly what has actually gone on.

Wait, Songque has a lean. I'm still salty about Mihoyo removing HoFi Kiana's lean.

So true, I used to start playing the game for fun back in 2017, cuz the gameplay looked fresh and cool that time. But before I knew it, I was chasing power more than enjoyment, it started to feel like a chore to me at one point, now I just play the game more casually and it actually feels better. Dropping from abyss or MA 2% once in a while is fine, fun is more important.

HoV is the most phenomenal character at that time

i hope one day they go back and redo some of the old valks or bring back the augmentation system

Imo HoV is still the baddest char in honkai, her play style dignified herself as literal queen of all honkai, which is epic.

All these improvements and yet Songque will never be as iconic or famous as HoV still is.

I absolutely love Songque animations and all of the poses that she has it's beautiful

The Queen armed with 4G Elysia stigmata still can clear range weather with a combination: HoRb Seele + Not_Bronya

From design to attacks,, HoV is still cooler in all aspects except in dps.

In terms of daily time investments. Roughly speaking, it's ranging from literally just 2 minutes/day to half an hour. It depends, if dimension string restart or abyss, it'd take 20 minutes twice per week, elysian realm 30 minutes once per week, and the rest of days probably 5 minutes/day.

no , trust me just stay out. They ruin everything good they have (story telling) now the only things remain in this game is : Pull for the new character , wait 2 week , get destroyed from the new character and the story is litteraly shit right now.

Becomes something very similar. Currently in the first arc they seem to have established that the Astral Ring system uses Honkai energy and the Shadows are manifestation of Honkai energy. The current situation and the source of the Shu's power is all tied to an Astral Ring. Without more detailed spoilers, a series of actions dealing with the Shadows after they first manifested lead to the current situation and the birth of an 'authority'.

HoV will always remain my favorite.

Well, Herrscher power levels vary quite a bit but in this case, the source of her power and it's creation is very similar to a Herrscher. Note that all the shadows in the current arc are basically a manifestation of Honkai energy and the Astral Rings almost certianly are artifacts that control, store and use Honkai energy. Sena getting something very similar to Honkai corruption from forcably overusing her Astral Ring is a good indicator of that.

basically, same concept as a herrscher, but not a herrscher specifically. its been hinted at that honkai can actually manifest in different ways, and in langqiu (mars), it manifests as shadows. Spoilers and long lore explanations below. TL;DR: Songque and Jue are herrscher of shadows. long story: baiji "accidentally" condensed the shadows into one point in hopes to destroy it all at once. but it backfired. remember what happens when you condense honkai energy? (see: chapter 17), yeah you create a herrscher! and thats what perception is. songque isnt the actual herrscher, but technically she is part of a herrscher. if you play the story, the actual herrscher is perception (chinese name jue, im gonna call her that its shorter). jue is kinda like the herrschers in the sense that they're born out of condensed honkai energy, but ajita and baiji created a failsafe, and put it in songque. Basically baiji and ajita connected songque to the whole of the shadows. in the game, its been paralleled with prince rupert's glass drop. Jue is the thick end, where shes basically omnipotent and nigh indestructible, meanwhile songque is the thin end. though songque cant actually do much, but long story short if you kill songque you kill jue too.

Well, probably Psudo Herrscher would be more acturate. The creation of her 'Authority' was very similar to a herrscher's if I understand right though I am unclear about the herrscher core as the whole process was rather artifical. As for 'of what', her authority is over the shadows which are honkai manifestations of fear. So Herrscher of Shadows? Herrscher of Fear? The whole situation with Mars and its relation to the Honkai is very much effected by the Astral Rings, which seem to be a system to control and use Honkai energy, similar to the divine keys or Selene, but on a much bigger and more developed scale. Apparently Herrschers didn't naturally manifest on Mars prior to its Great Eruption, probably because the Astral Ring system kept singularities from forming. That is my suspicion anyway.
