You dont need to pull the axles or hub off. This can all be done on the car. I just notched the dust shield for slight clearance to install the linger stud !!!!.
Siiick you took the calipers off the correct way
Looks so good with the 285 tires
What size are centric hub for the wheels
I’m super happy that you didn’t just bang the dust shield out of the way to get the old studs out and new studs in!

Gotta do it the right way 💪🏼
can I ask what offset these are? you said 18x10 correct? also any pics since lowering
Wait, I didn't have to take the hubs off the front...
no torque specs? what are those grey thingy u put on the studs?

Tight is tight as far as wheel studs go, we put lube on the studs so we did not burn up our install tool or the lugnut
did you use oem torque spec with new studs and wheels?

100 ftlb!
Can anyone please explain to me why dont they just buy perfect offset/spec rims and not need to use longer studs and spacers?

Because aftermarket wheels uses different style lug nuts from oem. Less thread engagement

@@RedXLilAznBoi yea i get that, but aftermarket wheels with correct spec/offset and just get aftermarket lug nuts with correct thread pattern should be good enough right? I guess it depends on what wheel you get?

@@chnsx7 The GRC has really short factory studs, and it has been determined that most aftermarket wheels do not engage enough threads. That's why all the videos of aftermarket studs. There's plenty of people on the forums who have installed aftermarket rims without extended studs, and I've yet to see anybody post a thread of their wheel falling off, but better safe than sorry. Now spacers, that 's a different story. This install here used no spacers. As a matter of fact, the GRC actually comes from the factory with a 10mm rear spacer which they took off. There's two odd things about that. One - the rear wheel will sit in too far in comparison to the front, unless they chose a different offset for the rear. (I'm really surprised a 285 on a +35 rim doesn't rub on the inside with no spacer) And two - if they were not planning on using the rear spacer, there's no need to install longer studs back there - they're plenty long enough without the 10mm spacer in place. If you do run longer studs, you then need to be careful going back the OEM rims, say for the winter. Now the studs will too long for the OEM lug nuts. At that point spacers might be needed to engage the OEM lugs...
Can someone please tell me where to buy those wheels 😢

Advan are hard to come buy in stock in the US. Most are made to order, you may get lucky if you call around. I was going to get them for my WRX and only found one set in my fitment.
With your first mod, you would get pulled out in Germany instantly. Maybe, if you have a hothead cop, the car is towed away, because of changing the brightness of lights.

With good reason. It's a childish mod - makes it harder for everyone to see your signals, but hey you'll look "cool" during the crash.
285 will rub like shizz. Do you plan to raise the car???
@OffTheLinePerformance

We actually plan on lowering the car about an inch, no rubbing has occured
Okay but what will be the process WITHOUT taking the axle nut off and using special stud install tools? 99% of people do not have these special tools.
@himmihyme2665

that is the only way to do the rear studs. for the fronts you can just bend the thin metal dust shroud out of the way to fit longer studs.

You don't need any special tools. Stack washers and call it a day. This can all be done with common hand tools
Cover up the turn signals? That's idiotic.

And reverse lights. Stupid mod
What a pain in the a$$ to put a nicer set of rims on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Toyota should have either made the GR Yaris available in North America , at over 400 pounds less weight OR given the Toyota GR Corolla a larger displacement motor with 400 plus hp > it'all about horsepower to weight ratios !!
Unveiled? I'll get car advice elsewhere
