@@austingloin2076 Apples to oranges. The only real competition the AR15/M4 has is the AK47. Glock has competition from all the major manufacturers that is just as good or arguably better than the Glock. My first pistol was a G17 back in the late 2000’s. Then got a G19 for edc 10 years ago. My G19 hasn’t been in the rotation for 3 years! Both have been put out to pasture. The PDP, P365XL, P365XMacro, and Delta X have replaced them. All four are better than my G19. Glock hasn’t come out with a pistol as of late that’s compelling enough to buy. I still have and use my AR15’s though.

Always thought that was ridiculous. With today's technology though, we are getting there. There are MANY non-metallic or non-ferrous materials (not containing iron and not having/causing magnetic flux) we've found that are stronger than steel/metal. Some are made of carbon and boron and we're also coming up with extremely strong epoxies and plastics/polymers.

If I'm not mistaken, they can still do the original Tenifer process in Austria, but chose to stop using it when it became illegal in the US. (I could be wrong about that though.
