It may be more helpful to display the data in the form of bar charts instead of a pie chart. It makes the information more readable especially when you have so many options. Edit: The 1st 6* bar chart at 3:48 is so much better compared to other pie charts. Just as comparison between the 2 data presentation formats

Year 3/Stultifera Navis having the second largest entry group also makes sense considering that's when the anime started (personally friends recommended the game, I watched like an episode or two of the anime and then fell into the rabbit hole by trying out the actual game) Also surprised Walk In The Dust lobby theme didn't place higher, it's so pretty I just kinda stopped to listen to it the first time I was browsing through the intermezzi

Walk in the dust is very much S tier

If you are gonna do this again at some point; although it would be more work for you, may I suggest separating them by year (Year1, Year 2, etc) to avoid recency bias. As much as I love the newer events, characters, and music, it is kinda sad not to see much of the older events.

AAK? Aak is the second most hated? Man that sucks, even having been denied a limited by him, I still think he's one of the more interesting ops in the game.His buff, while massive, takes some thought to not just amongus-ing your buff target. Imo that makes it more interesting to use than just drop Warf or Suzu. Aslo with the release of his module, he's actually just a decent unit to *USE*. Idk despite my inital pre reception of him I've grown to like him and it's sad to see other people not do the same. (Also lmao 2dp)

Most likely the one who vote are vets who spooked at Nian Banner and that reputation gets hammered down for the rest of his existence. I mean, he's already spooked my nian banner 7 times, and that was me losing on 6* 50/50 for 8 times in 178 pulls iirc. It was very lucky I got Nian and not sparking for her because that was my last attempt since it was early year 1 (f2p), and yes with consecutive 6* 9 times (including nian) but damn 7 Aak before Nian? I would be glad if I get other 6* operators but the probability was somehow skewed in my account.

i agree that his kit is quite interesting. So the other operators are mostly disliked because of their bad kit, whereas he is disliked because it's aak, which is disgusting. correct the graph for the bias towards bad kits and he "wins" this category by a landslide.

Aak sure is a good unit, its that you wont need to use him as often. You're not just gonna buff mlynar for every single stage for the 400th time anyway and spooking a 6 star is another reason. you could've gotten a unit that would be useful for every stage, but no you got yourself a buff niche operator which you'll only need for high-end content. I still feel he is a good unit, just not useful for regular content. Heck even my aak is still unbuilt till this day

As a day 1 player, I'm glad that operation basepoint comes 1st, as it should. Many vets can definitely feel the attachment of all the hardships they've been through when watching its trailer. And even sad knowing that it's the last CC. I even cried a little when looking at the 4 in 1 trailer from all servers except Taiwan.

As one of the people who started on Dorothy's Vision, let me tell you that Magic Theorem was a love at first play Even after experiencing a big chunk of Arknights, it's still my favorite track of all time

I didn't know this census exist. If you ever done this again it'll be better if the most/least favourite events and 6* operators be separated by year, gameplay and lore. Especially operators: their gameplay, lore, design have separate chart. It's a lot of work for sure, but there's a lot recency bias.

I both like and dislike future sight, I just wish it didn't take so long is more my thought. I really like being able to plan pulls ahead, but 6 months is more than enough time for hype to fall down. I think something like 1 or at most 2 months would be great, a decent bit of time to plan for who to pull, but the wait wouldn't be so long that my excitement dies down.

I got Siege as a six star and stuck with her bc I never played a gacha game before and had no idea that rerolling was a thing you could do 😭😭😭 I also got my first Siege pot in my first day of playing! Luckily I also got Blue Poison and Specter for five stars, and the next day spooked Eyja, so my account wasn't utterly screwed from the start. Anyways I put Eyja as my least favorite 6star operator bc I'm pissed that she entirely outclasses all my favorite shitty caster operators that was sososo mean of her

Tbh when I gave my answers, I forgot when I started playing, so I kinda guessed on that one lmfao,,,, I made my account, played for a day, then didn't touch the game for a year until someone started gushing about its characters and music enough that I decided to give it another chance. It'd be cool to have this sort of thing around New Years, maybe with even more data next time. Glad you stole this idea-- I mean, found the inspiration.

My first 6 star was actually Nian I started during her event and went oh she looks cool and pulled on her banner instead of the Starter banner and got her in like 5 pulls.

Lone Trail wasn't my favorite event but it was certainly the best event. So well deserved. Reed sweep! Let's go. (she is the only Operator I was planning to skip but the moment her banner dropped up and I took another look at her, I just started pulling. I digged into my Op, failed to get Chong Yue because of that.... but never regretted getting her. Her skin can come soon enough!) And Feesh squad destroying Rhodes Island is really funny. Last but not least good to see that foresight question. As much as content creators try to tell us how terrible the 6 month gap is (and it certainly is from content creation point), us normal players know well that pros greatly outweighs the cons.

I like future sight but only because it gets me excited. I don't care to know how strong a unit it, I just want to see their art and skins. I want to see what events are coming but don't care to see guides. Those are things that come with future sight even if I don't care about them

I started on Gaviater banner and rerolled 40x ish to get Pozemka and Gavialter. Pozemka best design. Also Future Sight is pog, but 6 months is TOO MUCH. 3 months would be nice.

honestly i still thing surtr deserves the title of most balans. Like sure she doesn't have the insane mylnar damage or range, but you can brainlessly drop her literally anywhere and melt any ground target. Mylnar is undeniably the better operator but he takes a TINY (not a lot) bit of thinking compared to the drop and kill that is surtr.

probably because you can use low level/rarity ops to clear POO but for DOS you must bring the full meta squad to clear it

@@datnoob4394 At least DOS was bearable that you can finish the highest difficulty in game with existing units in few minutes but yeah it was 50/50 for me because I enjoy it because the boss looks cool and mechanics wise it is befitting of a boss but the elite enemy HP BS is absurd and squad diversity is not flexible. I even like the time-survival event in DOS which I hope DOS would be a separate event from CC like ToN and rework more of the flaws in reward system and enemy balancing. POO wasn't. Are you even enjoying the game after stalling it for more than an hour while keeping check of Ceobe's S2 just to dish out more damage to beat the highest difficulty? I was stalling it for more than 40 minutes just to squeeze that 750, even 600 was not even fun to play just for medal sake. The second highest score achieved by sciel was finished in more than hours, if that was me playing in mobile, my phone would die first before I could even see Ceobe dish-out 1/4 HP bar of that missile Gundam shit.

If you're doing the max difficulty runs like Sciel you're literally doing it to yourself, DOS just says: "Oh you don't have limited 6 stars max pot, levels, and masteriers? Kill yourself IRL" It unironically sounds like a skill issue for POO.

Whoops. XD Well I am the most common AK player: F2P, has not sparked a limited op, likes Lone Trail lobby theme, optimized base. However I have no most fav and least fav 6-star operator. I did hated Chenalter because she was popular as the only serious way to pass difficult stages. But she became indifferent to me after maxing Ling and Mlynar. Mlynar is also indifferent although I like his idle "I don't give a sh*t, I am reading newspaper" stance. Vigil is more like "okay, this guy is quite weird but I understand how to use him properly". I don't have Aak but I guess that I can use his skills better after some vids.

I'm surprised people didn't hate Reclamation. This thing burned me out, and sucked the joy I had playing AK. I'm still salty with all the grindfest that was, repeating the same uninteresting maps all over again and again and bumrush "bosses" with 150 guys spawning at the same time because apparently that's a fun mechanic or something. Dos was difficulty but it didn't make me want to uninstall the game.

It won't be a grindfest if you progress, it has roguelike elements. It is very fun if you don't burn out yourself early. Don't finish the mode in 1 go.. spread it out like 5-15 minutes a day,

The main issue with your survery is that it relies on people knowing AK community terms, which excludes newer players. Like, you say "did you spark a limited op?" what do you mean by that? Do you mean if I didn't get a limited and HAD to spark in order to get it, or if I used the spark to get a pot, or used the spark to get another limited. Better question would be to split it and ask did you have to spark a limited in order to get p0, and another to be "how many times did you pull 300 on a limited banner". Same with skin line, who ever even knows what each name for the skin line is.

as respectfully as possible, imo it's totally fine to have a soft gatekeep/barrier for newer/uninformed players, since their opinions are not built on as much and therefore less valuable to record. regarding your specific examples, i think mochi's point was more "did you save up 300 rolls for a limited banner," given what he discusses. and plenty of people know skin lines btw

Texas is a character that stand up because she is placed in the center around interesting elements(Lappland & Exusiai is fan favorite since day one, Emperor is based, Penance have nice background, Siracusa itself have good vibes) There's many character just like that in AK, Texas is the few who very lucky because her companion cover her lacks. Take Siege for example, she have Texas weaknesses but her companion didn't make up for her, arguably only Indra is based enough but the other are lacking (Victoria is obnoxious and opponent to many fan favorite faction, her arc is cluttered by other interesting elements around her that barely involve her, Gwain isn't there most of the time.)
