Theats the issue, solo is fun and good however its not fun for everyone. If this game had a solo, duo and trio mode itll be much bigger. Gotta think some people hate getting stomped by a 3 man team while playing solo, or the team mates are just not sticking together or anything​@stunphy8286

This feels exactly like what The Finals was missing in terms of "game show"

I think I'm starting to understand now. I think they made Terminal Attack the sole ranked mode for this season so as to make World Tour the main gamemode instead. Think about it: the more you play, the higher your rank. They want you to be playing World Tour most out of all of the modes, and so making the old ranked mode a gamemode that most people don't like, they draw old ranked players into their new system so they can get feedback and let people enjoy the new system they've been working on. Still gonna miss getting the ranked rewards from Season 3, but hey, I sure am excited for World Tour.

If that truly was the case, why put the ELO system on terminal attack and not on cashout. It doesn't make sense. If we are to have a competitive scene, a ranked game mode in which you compete against people of the same skill should be based on ELO, and not on the amount of cash you've earned by just mindlessly grinding. If Embark doesn't see a competitive scene in the future of The Finals, then hey, I will gladly take that and just play it as a casual game, make a bunch of different game modes in which people will have fun, no ranked, just pure progression. I would love that. But giving us a ranked game mode, based on ELO, and then completely changing the game mode is just not a good decision. It makes zero sense.

This just goes to show that you should really put your trust and patiance into Embark, they know what they're doing

the job title of community manager makes a lot more sense when you consider how some people got mad at the not yet live upcoming season for removing ranked cashout tournaments from the game when it was said in the description that world tour would be the next evolution of that gamemode

Traditional ranked mode has not theater or special quality. The vibe with in a single tournament was fun but this seems soo much better in my opinion. This is more thematic and feels like a real “event”. It feels like they are trying to craft something more communal.

Great presentation Oscar! I’m sure this will ease the nerves of those worried about the change to ranked. But now they are two different modes that give out both equally interesting rewards unique to their own. Terminal attack is a tighter and more locked down experience and I’m very excited to see strategies develop overtime. Much love Embark ❤

I think this shows that they have been working on some MUCH bigger ideas than what basically equates to a # going up on a screen with the old ranked system. It feels like they want to create more communal events that have more presence. I love this and think it looks really fun.

Hopefully we'll see a mode like the following at the World Tour Championships BANKIT: Battle Royale Mode 3v3v3v3 Each player in each team starts with 10 resurrection coins. One resurrection coin will be consumed every minute that passes (in completely poisoned areas). There will be three gold points on the map labeled A-C, similar to “BANKIT”. Killing a player with no gold coins will also drop 100 gold coins. Picking up 1000 gold coins will automatically convert them into a resurrection coin. If a player has less than 1000 gold coins and is killed by another player, all of his or her gold coins will be dropped and his or her resurrection coins will be reduced accordingly. Once a player has zero coins, they are eliminated. The map is scanned every minute and players with more than 5 coins are detected (similar to a sonar mine effect) to prevent them from hiding and winning. This mode can also be applied to single player mode without changing any existing maps or items.

Please add a play of the game system like Overwatch has! The mechanics of this game and the tournament theme really lends itself to that type of “highlight” moment played at the end of the match for everyone to see. I also feel like it would make it easier to clip and share cool moments which could draw in more players

Embark making progress never being halted in word tour progression is an insane play that im very fond of.

i hope in the world tours the gameshow aspect gets played up more and i think thats what theyre going for. But i hope i hear the crowd cheer when i get a team whip or make a crazy play stuff like that would just be the cherry on top to this amazing game

Love things that have steady progress, not punishing you if you have an off game or back to back bad teammates, good job on that one👍
