Hey you should remake the pokewalker vid with rom hacks, if you have a cartridge in the game slot with an iron sensor, it will connect to the pokewalker with the rom hack

How does it work? Btw. Does this mean if a device has parental lock, there is no way to fix it anymore? I have no idea if my 2nd hand 3ds has it. I cant rmb which game pop up the parental lock but when I click the settings,it ask me if i want to setup parental control. That's why I'm confused. And now it's probably too late to fix it. FML

Does anyone know the ACTUAL time the servers officially went down for everyone. I played alpha sapphire until 1:25 am eastern time. (at this point many people were getting booted off and I was just waiting for it to happen to me) then I decided to play ultra sun and then that was the moment. I could not connect to online there and I got the thank you for playing this service message. This made me realize if I didn’t change games I probably would have been able to continue playing, but I just don’t know how long I would’ve had for time.

yeah once the "shutdown" took place you could stay on as long as you didnt get a communication error that kicked you offline or just got off the internet. it was a soft shutdown not really a hard one.

I camped in the Festival Plaza for 29 hours. I think I had the very last Gen 7 online battle on the Nintendo Network, and planned a final GTS trade with someone an hour before shutdown. Servers were fully shut down at 7 PM ET, April 9th Edit: Ayy they pointed out a post from SadisticMystic! That was who I arranged what was most likely the final GTS trade on Nintendo Network with!

Pokeclassic network has the Gen 4 and 5 games online without hacking. You only need to use their DNS which you put into the internet settings. They even have all the mystery gifts for the games stored on the server. Hopefully they can do the same for the 3DS games.

I was still wondertrading on usum and playing Splatoon 1 2 hours after the servers were supposed to be shut down. I stopped playing after these 2 hours because it was 4 am where I lived and I was just tired at that point. I definitely would've played way more if it wouldn't have been so tired

I stayed online until it shut down at 7pm. I traded a ditto for a mew, and I actually got it from the GTS. I am happy

pretendo team are working on servers for the pokemon games but are no where near usable and barely even started honestly and are going to start focusing on those servers when they are done working on the current unfinnished ones like mk7, pokken, tournement, kid icarus, and trif-force heroes to name a few so keep your hopes up just know they ont be coming anytime soon

I just learned about GTS shutting down now after I restarted my X and Y game and when I tried accessing GTS, it didn't work until I googled the reason. Honestly, I hope Game Freak fixes the issues they've been having with GTS and reboot it for the 3DS as GTS was my only method of gaining trading evolutions with myself

Probably multiple reasons, it costs money to run, they want to move people to the newer systems, they don't want to provide customer support for the systems.

I'm very excited for when Pretendo supports Pokémon, hopefully it will be in the near future! They're probably the most popular games that are not supported. I wonder traded two boxes full of Absol with egg moves from 2014 when I was trying for a shiny, so I'm very happy with that. Thanks for this amazing video!

On the bright side, they killed off all of the bots wonder trading hacked shinies for these games so you won't have to constantly release them when received. Gtfo Mitsuki and FunkyGamer.

In terms of playing online, yes. It might be possible in the future, but at this time isn't (and would more than likely require custom firmware)

Calm down its not over. Pretendo is going strong, let the servers get over the overload, and u can play x and y online.
