Being someone who has received a folded flag, and being someone who the day I turn 18 will enlist, this touches me deeply and God bless those who have been to hell for us all. "Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called the sons of God"

Only problem is Marines get to report for duty still, because "the streets are guarded by United States Marines."

Yeah but it's the gates guarded by the soldier... much love from an Army doc. I would galdy sleep in a trench with an Army infantrymen or a United States Marine over any other group of people.

Well done it's very true most don't know what it takes to be a soldier. And the thing's you must do especially in a tight spot. Also things you must do stay with you forever. It's not a easy way to make a living. But someone has to do it. Thanks for the video

Thank you sir first, for your service. My brother recently passed oct 1, 2021. When I heard this poem. I cried til I can't cry no more. It's getting me through this hard time! Thank you. He served in Vietnam . Now he can rest in peace.
