This video is very enlightening. It is frustrating, but helpful to see just how little I understand the game. I am committed to, and motivated to learn as much as I can. Thank you +checkercycle

The pp play for the Fife and taking the triple leads to a exciting game. I am glad you mention this, thank you! I have seen Master players accept the triple and also decline the gambit. Sorry, I missed your comment and just answering now.

Hi! There is a lot of things you can do for improving your calculations. You can check out "The Checker Maven" by Bob Newell. He gives very good examples on his website. Study problems and practice on a daily basis will help. Some books, Excelling at Chess Calculations by Jacob Aagaard. Starting out in Checkers by Richard Pask. You can check out your local library for more ideas. Let me know how you are doing. Watching some of the videos and playing them over with or without a board.
