TYSM as always! Something about this series has a calming, comforting effect. I don't get that with hardly any others. Hope there's more to come. 👏👍😍

I’ve suddenly become a bit of a Sherlock Holmes’s fan thanks to some of the brilliant BBC radio dramas that I’ve discovered uploaded on KZread. Up until listening to this episode I’d been really enjoying them - but this episode has to be the best yet! Having said that I have to boast that I started to suspect the wunderkind Dawkins halfway through. The ingenious way Holmes lured Dawkins into showing his hand by saying he’d obtained written proof but was actually blank sheets of paper was a brilliant twist to end the episode. Thank you to the person who took the time to upload and share these brilliant episodes with us. Thorvald, 25. Born in Norway but currently living in the U.K. (FYI… Thorvald is pronounced Tourval) 😄

First transmitted on 16 January 2009, this story is based on a reference from Doyle's short story "The Priory School": "'I am retained in this case of the Ferrers Documents.'" What could possibly link a slum landlord, a vanishing prostitute, and a break-in at 221B Baker Street? In a case with no leads, the most important clue is that there are no clues at all.

Great series!!! I listen to canon and further adventures here and Imagination Theater out of Seattle. Between them there are over a hundred stories in full cast dramas. Well done.

Nobody would probably believe me but from the moment I picked up on Constable Dawkins enthusiasm in this case, I suspected him in some capacity concerning the murders! He was too keen for his own good!

@@JonFrumTheFirst - you obviously haven't read the original sherlock holmes stories by Conan Doyle. that's exactly the sort of comment that holmes would make.
