Love that you taking the FCX10 through all the mods, I got to my new rig even before I even started wrenching on my week old baby, bought the FCX 18 in the same colour, so having a spread out discovery on both. interesting to see what fits and what doesn't in advance. this was great. also, bubble juice on tire beads works pretty good to help align holes for beadlocks rainbow turbines

hey, if you want a little bit more ground clearance without stiffening up the shocks, ebay has shock relocation mounts for traxxas trx4 and guess what, fit this perfectly. i have 2.2 traxxas "dish" mags (same as on the trx4 f-150) and proline "hammer" tires about 125mm tall, looks nice.

Nice haul I have the Orange FMS & right now I’m testing out Injora pinner tires & have the medium inserts I’m getting ore of a scale tire for the Blazer but I’m definitely keeping the medium inserts the side hill performance was good it’s kind of a heavy rig but I do have Injora metal heavy almost stock looking wheels on it as well. I’m still not sure which tire I’m getting I was thinking maybe a Proline tires. Those rims are super nice if the tires turn out to be good I may get them. 👍

I tryed pulling apart my portals on the front to grease them an every screw was stripped. Any tricks to get them out. All so my back shocks where soft or low on oil . Looked like it was squatting. Had to add pre load. All so have a grinding noise in rear axle.

Very odd. If the hex head is stripped you can try dremeling/cutting a slot in them to use a flat head screw driver, you can also try using some needle nose or flush cuts to get a grip on the screw head and turn it. I’ve also been able to use a slightly larger hex or a very tight one to jam into the stripped head and get it tight enough to let me unscrew. (Or a torqs)

@@OGKDOG104 no. Not really, I’d be more worried about the body if anything. Rubbing isn’t ideal, but some rub is fine. Just a matter of which is a priority to you.
