In today's video, I give you 3 Pro-level Basketball scoring tips to help you instantly make your scoring average increase dramatically! These simple basketball scoring tips are super easy to implement for players at every level. By implementing these transition scoring tips into your game you can almost immediately skyrocket your scoring average and your overall basketball skill level!
So my first talking point is that most players at every level leave around 8-12 points per game because they aren't maximizing their opportunities to get easy buckets in transition. Transition points in basketball are incredibly important because they can really swing the momentum of a game, and are really easy to get if you know what you are looking for. By simply making a concerted effort to put your self in the right position while running in transition you will see a huge difference in how many wide-open shots you get throughout the course of the game.
My first basketball transition scoring tip is to have an explosive first three steps getting into transition. Basically meaning once your team secures the ball via a rebound or a steal, making sure your first three steps to running in transition are explosive gives you a huge advantage. The reason why it's so important is that you can get a ton of leak out opportunities for layups and wide-open transition 3 pointers. The great thing about this is that it has nothing to do with your athleticism as a basketball player, it does, however, have everything to do with your motor and overall effort. So if you are willing to get out and run the floor you will have numerous opportunities throughout the course of the game to get easy buckets. If we look at the elite scorers in the NBA guys like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Those players do a phenomenal job maximizing their opportunities to score the basketball in transition, simply because the looks they get are so wide open. So if you want to really skyrocket your scoring the first step is to get out and score in transition.
My second tip to help you instantly boost your basketball scoring average is to flair out while running in transition. The way basketball is played now a lot of the good team's flair their shooters out to the three-point line to get wide-open looks in transition. The reason why teams do this now is that a transition three-pointer is often times the most wide-open look in the game of basketball. Think of the Golden State Warriors who have made an absolute living off of killing opposing defenses with transition 3 pointers. When their players run the floor in transition they are sprinting to the 3 point line think of Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry they get numerous looks a game by exploiting the transition defense and flaring out to the 3 point line. So make sure you practice flaring out so you to can get wide-open three's in games.
My third tip score more point in transition is to look for space. A lot of coaches just teach players to run to the rim in transition. In theory, trying to get a layup is smart but most of the time that just creates bad spacing, and it makes the offense much easier to defend if everyone is in the same area. So what we like to teach our players is that looking for space is actually much more efficient. then just running to a designated spot on the floor. If you watch the top scorers in the NBA they all do a really good job of this.
My last tip is to look for crackback opportunities this is kind of piggybacking off of our last segment is looking for space, but if you want to master the crack back I promise you will get a ton more open looks in transition.
As always make sure you are paying close attention to these basketball scoring tips so when the time comes you can really expand your game to the next level! Watch the video all the way through and implement these scoring tips into your game today!

Don't be nervous .just relax, forget about the others and keep your eyes on the basketball rim then shoot . work more on your shooting position and if you got blocked you just have to dribble or pass the ball to your teammate . GOOD Luck 😊
