8 seconds is a max Bubba tantrum, or the amount of time twins were punished for a successful hit with Victor pre mid-chapter.

Medkits with both needles and Hyperfocus can go so hard and I even go as far as pairing it with Deadline, Streetwise and Built to last so I essentially get 3 5 second self heals with a full medkit and about 10 in total spending all BTL uses

Correction, while negative modifiers are multiplicative, they affect the base charge, the positive modifiers are then applied to the new base charge rate and then added.

I'm not sure I understand what Better Than New is doing here. Don't you lose that speed bonus as soon as you're injured, meaning you can't use that number to heal yourself?

Just run self-care and botany or new perk and botany. It doesn’t need anything else unless you stacking the perk leader on top each other.

If you were to get unhooked with resurgence (get off hook 50% healed), the teammate that unhooked you gets hit (activating reactive healing +25% healed for 75% total), and you self heal immediately with strength in shadows (70% speed) + botany knowledge(50%speed, 120% total) you can get a very fast (about 4 second) self heal immediately off hook. Assuming no healing speed debuffs were applied

Would dying light work or is it only other survivor healing speeds?

A perhaps not-so-figuratively insane desire of mine is to measure exactly how long it takes to walk to the basement spawns from each tile for each permutation of each map, average it per map, then add that to the "heal speed" calculations to see which maps are better for Strength in Shadows and which favour unmodified medkits. I may have found something to do this week.

I just use plot twist. Very simple, very effective, and tons of utility. Works as unbreakable, slows end game collapse, prevents Michael mori, stops pig trap, end corrupt if you get hit and left. Very versatile perk. Not to mention it doesn't disable DS, meaning you can force DS value or get a full heal and speed boost.

Hmm interesting 9 seconds honestly isn't even all that much considering these really specific circumstances. You have to be in the basement, better than new and leader is never gonna happen in an actual game and desperate measures probably won't give you the full 56% often

Dying Light only applies to altruistic actions, so healing others not self healing :)

Inner strength/healing has a fixed rate of heal. Reactive healing can work but it’s also a weird perk that doesn’t always activate when you think it will

Strength and shadows is the only good park from Sable. Her other two are pretty much 95% useless . Unhooking yourself in the basement I mean, how often are you hooked in the basement once in a long while normally you’re hooked outside so extremely specific when you need it. Don’t get me started with weaving spiders that thing is the most useless perk. I think I’ve ever seen. All risk no reward

This perk still isn’t better than self-care. Neither perk is good without botany. +You have to be in basement for that perk to work that’s why it’s not all that. They should’ve made it 100%.
