Farmer Mat Carter has started offering his customers the chance to choose, name and even help look after their Christmas turkey before it's slaughtered. However, ‘militant’ vegans have since vandalised the farm and even sent Mat and his butchers death threats. Mat Carter joins us from his turkey farm in Exeter. We’ll also be joined by ‘Made In Chelsea’ star, Lucy Watson who believes we should all be going meat-free this Christmas.

Imagine claiming to be against animal abuse and be an animal lover when you pay for animals to have their throats slit open for something you don’t need 🥴
My great-grandparents had a ranch and they had turkeys and pigs. I never saw it but my mom told me that when she was a kid she would watch as they ring the turkeys neck and bleed out the pigs. I visited once and remember seeing an armadillo in the bed of a pickup truck, later that day at dinner there was that armadillo meat on the table. Didn't taste bad, definitely tasted gamey. Thing is that kids do have the capacity to understand where their food comes from, they just view it as a natural thing.

People do what ever you like and ill do what I like and that's cool I don't hate cause u have different views I hate cause your slamming down my throat trying to change what I do in my life. Food chain circle of life hunt or be hunted.. If it wasn't ment to be then it would of....🛸🤔🙋♂️

And just like any other oppressive action that harms another sentient being, it is wrong Look at the lives we force upon farmed animals 😳 All for sensory pleasure..? What’s more valuable: taste or life?
