This is how to properly mod an elevator. Otis and CJ Anderson did an awesome job at keeping the historic look.

Probably one of the the best mods we have ever seen on any elevator. Otis always does good with elevator mods.

This modernization is quite tasteful! I'm so not used to hearing the Otis voice with CJ Anderson buttons. That"s pretty neat. I like the cabs too.

I am so glad these elevators were modernized in an excellent manner, especially with the CJ Anderson Architectural Historic Series-2 fixtures.

CJA and a Gen2 voice? Am I not the only enthusiast that thinks that's strange. Also, did they pull a uno reverse and decide not to decommission the side elevator? I thought they were going to...

it started out as the Gen2 voice, but it's used on all of Otis's product lines now. from hydrofit mods, to traction mods (Elev R and Gen2), to new Gen2/Hydrofit installs. they're able to do all the fancy stuff with the newer controllers

If the market garage elevator gets modded, I will be 💀

Good. Because they’re 2 of Andrew’s favorite and famous elevators.

Big W for Otis and the Hotel Roanoke. And I am shocked that they decided not to decommission the side elevator.

It’s not a race or a competition. We’ve technically known before the mod started. The hotel reached out to Andrew personally.

Good mod. They did a good job at keeping the old feel and not slapping on some ugly gen 2 silver panel in that beautiful cab.
