The family before the one living there now stayed in the house for over a decade. When I was a kid I believed every word,I absolutely believe in ghosts but far too much of that story has been debunked to take it seriously. The Lutz’s and Jay Anson have all but admitted that they made it up. Regardless it’s still a very cool and spook part of American folklore that really captured the public’s imagination and it continues to even to this day. It’s great that you were able to document this. I’ve never been up there and it’s not too far from where I am but I think I’d be too freaked out even if it’s mostly fiction. I believe enough to stay away😂. Thanks for posting this it’s awesome

The supernatural phenomenon was poltergeist activity.

Men-tal-ly Ill in Am-i-ty-ville. The muted segment as he was passing into town was him saying, "Aww shiiiet, I'm in Am-i-ty-ville now, bruhs!!!"

I think that the haunting stories are all a hoax. Beautiful home. I wish they would have left the quarter moon windows.

I do think its haunted because of the ore is bad I see it and I get bad vibes and not just anything does that to me and it's not good its demonic but watched all the movies I'm a fan 👍🤟💜

I don’t believe the house was ever haunted. The families who have lived there have been there longer than a year. I think it’s been through several owners because people get tired of their privacy being invaded.

Absolutely not true. The family who moved in after the Lutz family left were there for many years...and it was definitely DEBUNKED as a scheme between the attorney of Butch DeFeo, Jay Anson who wrote the book & George Lutz as a possible insanity defense for Butch DeFeo. It failed miserably, but Jay Anson cleaned up as did George Lutz. And everyone knows now that the whole Ed & Lorraine Warren thing was also a total scam! Watching their son travel on a commercial airline with the supposedly so possessed that it could kill anybody Annabell doll...and handling it with GARDEN GLOVES on was he most RIDICULOUS crap that I've ever seen! 😂 That whole family was a total JOKE!

There is No evidence that the house was built on an Indian burial ground as told by a local Indian tribe

Not a horror but a house in Amityville. That is not haunted never was. William Weber admitted to making up the whole story and Anson who wrote the book said it's total fiction. Ronnie Jr. Knew the Lutz' before the murders. They were his drug buddies. George Lutz had a plan to make money and it worked. He lied. He couldn't even afford the low cost of $80,000 for that house. That's why they didn't stay long enough for one mortgage payment. You weren't alive when this all happened.. I was and I'm from the area too. Watch the full documentary and court transcripts. I hope this enlightens you. Btw.. I have psychic abilities. Their story is pure Hollywood. That is not how it really is. The Warrens were FOS. Every house has demons and is haunted when they saw dollar signs. Ed Warren said he wasn't psychic yet he sure had abilities when he walked into a money maker.
