You can re-order your Jokers after the Boss Blind flips and shuffles them. I normally just play one junk card, and watch the triggers. Then I can move them to the correct spot

you can also just grab one of the jokers immediately after choosing to fight the acorn but before it shuffles, and it will remain grabbed. therefore, you can know the exact position of one specific joker, and move it wherever you want when he was close to rerolling this boss, the easiest boss in the entire game even IF you don't know about this trick, i was about to pull my hair out lmao

Fun fact: if you're going for straights, you want to specialize in medium value cards. Since aces cap off both ends but don't bridge, there's less combinations of straights that contain aces, and cards that link with aces like kings and 2s are less valuable as a result as well. Unless you have the joker that makes a tarot for an ace straight, and that ones not even great, cutting the ends will tend to make your life better.

The shuffling animations are correct, the reason I checked is because I was tracking the first one mainly, it was the only one I could track as it did not move in the 2nd and 3rd shuffles and it happened to line up. Animations: 1XX4X -> 4XX1X, 1X3X5 -> 5X1X3, 123X5 -> 352X1, Compound: 12345 -> 43215 Tarot, Fibo, Smear, Family, Baller -> Family, Smear, Fibo, Tarot, Baller ->(He drags the Tarot) Tarot, Family, Smear, Fibo, Baller This lines up with what is shown in the final scoring, it could be useful sometime.

Pareidolia + Midas Mask + Vampire is a godly combo.

You can see the boss blind coming up with the "run info" button on the left

that felt like all the loose ends of a mystery story being tied together perfectly

The little text at the "that doesn't get me more chips" got me :D great stuff!

I love the acorn final boss, just slowing it down and sending out a test hand to see if you know your build is fun. All the bosses take skill to beat, but that once is just a different type of skill

Just had a run on a high stake(IIRC black stake) and got a negative family, truly a blessed run, usually when I go for negatives I get stuff like negative egg lol.

Always a good day when Aliensrock uploads a new video. Which means that every day is a good day.

Got the game yesterday and saw the shortcut joker. First thought i had was that it was pretty good and wondered why i haven't seen it in one of your videos. Turns out i just had to wait.

I managed to grab midas mask and the vampire recently. I was adding 1x every hand, it was beautiful

So that's the run I tuned into during the stream, I caught the end live

I wonder how the game would feel is things like a straight flush could be updraded by both straight and flush upgrades, might make it a little more friendly to go all in on "I want this type of hand" builds

The Serpent ignores your hand limit, just so you know, meaning you can discard one card and get three, regardless how many you are able to hold normally.

Uh, I don't think this run would've held up in Endless. At most Tyler makes it past Ante 9 without Hieroglyph.

a balatro board game would go crazy

My profile is currently at 70% completeness. The Challenge 20 Jokerless feels exceptionally challenging, much harder than the Golden Stake with strong decks such as Checkered or Plasma. Took me nearly 4 hours to beat. The worst part is that success heavily relies on luck initially. In early game, you need nice tarrots and blinds to skip which make lots of money, correct planets (imo, only flush, full house and four of a kind could work, flush is the best because it's stable, and you need to find the same one the whole game, without Telescope Voucher most likely), cannot face certain bosses like Wall or Hand. Strategy only becomes applicable thereafter.

i like that the planet card for buffing high card is pluto Because you're reaching real far to try and win with high card (Except in Balatro i guess)

Please continue your run in endless mode ! It scales insanely quickly, with the biggest wall being at Ante 11 ! It doesn't generally adds too much time to your run and it's what feels like the biggest challenge.

I mean, you're gonna want Glass Cards for the endgame instead of Steel Cards, but that's for when you get into the trillions per blind. They're still extremely useful if you happen to hold onto them, though.

I find it amusing that he got all three special planet cards, and he didn't even react to that aside from picking which special hand he wanted to improve.

Increased contrast mode on the cards would be appreciated! Makes it easier to keep up with when youre playing a flush build. All it does is make clubs more blue and makes diamonds more orange.
