Hey Jay, this was the first show of the tour, it was a small venue and quickly sold out so they added a second show in the UK. After this they played in Belgium and tomorrow will be playing in Germany and then Italy! Cant wait to see them!! 🤘🐺

The environment of the London venue this time is not good. But the distance is very close, I'm jealous. ASAMI's high-phoned voice became a behind-the-scenes voice on a long flight from Japan. The inside of the plane is very dry. The Belgian performance was okay.The surprise of this tour is that the presence of Fami is wonderful.🤘😎🇯🇵

Fami can make anyone smile 😃 she is one of my favorite bassists ever Asami still singing beautiful has always Miyako is amazing 🤩 Haruna little big engine is incredible Haruna doing Haruna things love it how she good friends with Akane too 😊🤘 Midori killing like 👍 always they are so amazingly talented beautiful ladies I’m hoping they will come to Canada 🇨🇦 must see band live! It was a seriously intimate venue ! Going to the toilet before the start three of the ladies were coming out of the Ladies Toilet just as I was going into the Gents beside it and they gave me a smile. That doesn't happen at normal venues ! And they are absolutely tiny !

Cool that you found one from this tour. The New Cross Inn only holds 350 so a very small venue. They only seemed to be playing one veune in each country so just a whistlestop tour of Europe. Hopefully they will come back and play more venues the next time.

The band is currently testing the market since they haven't performed overseas for more than 4 years because of COVID, Miho leaving and the band going into hiatus, Miyako and Asami having kids, Fami is still new, etc... They have to start from scratch again to gauge the overseas environment and work out what works and what doesn't. Once they've figured that out, then they'll know what and where to go for proper shows the next time.

They are returning to London for the penultimate show of the tour on 1st July. The second gig is at a (slightly) larger venue, The Garage, 600 as against 350 at the New Cross. I was at the New Cross show and will be going to The Garage. Having now seen them play live, I'm even more impressed by them than I was prior. As well as being talented musicians, they seem truly lovely people, appreciating the fans, always with a smile and a wave. I was also taken aback by just how beautiful they all are upon meeting them for real. They deserve all the success they can achieve.

@@thefamjaycrew3901 They have 4 shows now in US in september. A new EP and a double live album are coming out at the end of august. Maybe a new album in 2025 ? And a new tour ?

It's a bit bigger than it looks in the video, capacity is 350 and it was sold out. They all had new outfits for the tour. They played in Belgium the next day. so just one gig in the UK, but they are coming back for another at a better venue on the 1st July

The New Cross Inn is a very small venue, and to honest I was not impressed with it. It is shabby and the organisation left much to be desired. The acoustics are bad and the sound not the best, so please don't judge the Ladies playing by the sound track on the video. The concert was around 90 minutes in length, followed by a 'meet and greet' for those of us with a VIP ticket upgrade. This took place in a cramped area adjacent to the toilets (yes really! ) but the Ladies took it all in their stride like the professionals that they are. A high point of the concert was when Asami introduced the 'new member', Fami. The audience welcomed her with a huge cheer and chant of 'Fami, Fami', leaving her in no doubt she was accepted as a part of the band by the fans. The audience were great, in a situation that could potentially have been dangerous for the Ladies, The stage is tiny and barely raised above floor level allowing the audience to get right up to the band as they are playing. From everything I saw, the audience were respectful and considerate, and there was a very good atmosphere. I spoke to a few people after and we all had a very positive take on it all. (venue aside) I'm going to see them in London again on 1st July for the penultimate show of the tour at what I'm hoping is a better venue.

VIP in a small venue? Most gigs I go to (and that's a lot) the bands come to the Merc stall after the gig. I've met Haru Nemuri, Shonan Knife and Chai this way. I've seen VIP for big venues but never the small ones.

It’s never the ladies fault ever we would never blame Lovebites we know how incredible amazingly talented they are but yes I can see why people don’t like that venue etc but please send Lovebites to Canada 🇨🇦 we love Lovebites here they are amazing live! Thx for that cheers 🍻 😊🤘🐺
