The Charlo brothers are a prime example of why the PBC model failed the progression of their fighters. Somewhere along the way fighting and staying active became secondary to “looking” like superstars. Jermall Charlo should have had a fight scheduled immediately after his comeback just to eliminate the risk of more trouble.

This show has slowly become my favorite boxing show. I watch it everyday because Chris and Pauli are fair with their analysis 🧐 I enjoy everything they said of the Charló brothers was spot on. I don’t know if they even care about coming back. Jermall got the big payday so we might not see him for 2 years!

A focused Jermaine Taylor was a problem. His 2 wins over Hopkins, William joppy, jeff Lacy, are better than anything on either charlos resume especially malls. Mell became undisputed which is a great thing but he needed 2 fights to clearly beat Tony Harrison and the Argentinian.

Yep, the inner turmoil between them was their mutual undoing. A twin behavioral concept on display here. It's too bad because they have the skills and talent to be able to achieve even more in the sport of boxing. The just don't have the will or the "Eye of the Tiger" (or Lion in this case) anymore. The had a good run and made some money. Jermall is still undefeated as well, but psychologically, both Charlo's are done in this sport, in my personal opinion.

I was rewatching some of their big fights over again and they were very entertaining to watch from their bad attitude to how they fought it's sad that they went out the way they did especially Jermall.

Canelo Alvarez is 5' 8" and that's pushing it. I think at one point they had him at 5' 10". He kept getting taller the more he kept winning

Jarmall Charlo- needs to get back in the gym for his mental health- He needs an active promoter- Matchroom, or even a Queensberry/Toprank link up like Tyson fury had, through Toprank he could fight Janibek, through Queensberry could fight Chris Eubank Jr., Hamza Sheeraz, Denzel Bentley all big fights in the UK he needs a target to work towards in terms of a fight date and pyschologist or counsellor along the way.
