Dallas was a great show.

Wendall was a fool to go up against JR Ewing and when JR promises to get back at you, you'd be wise to believe it and leave town while you still can.

William Smithers is a great actor and was great as Jeremy Wyndell.

Forgot how good this was have to watch the series again have memory lost due to Parkinson's so like watching a lot of it for the first time

Thing is with JR owning ewing oil wasn't enough. his greed, arrogance, and pride got the better of him. Even when he was at the top he didn't know when to stop and just settle.

I would love to know how Bobby had Ewing Oil with no assets? All Bobby had was a name, JR owned the assets. Therefore JR should have been installed as president when he and Bobby rejoined forces. JR had 100% controlling interest plus being chairman of the board.

I agree with you how can Bobby Ewing have Ewing oil he didn't have the assets jr had all of Ewing oil assets jr didn't need Bobby he could've started on his own all Bobby had was the Ewing oil name

@@gursevsanghera7042 Don't disagree with ya but the Premise throughout the entire show was what "Ewing Oil" meant to JR (it represented his daddy)...Although Bobby re-acquired the name...Nothing changed regarding how jr viewed ot and what it represented to him.

For a very long time i ranted about just what you stated....A) if bobby had the name vs JR the assets clearly Jr appeared to have the more valuable part n Jock made it clear at the reading of his will that "Nobody but a Ewing cld ever own Ewing oil n when in S8 when they battled Jamie n Cliff for control...The boys respected Jock's wishes b/c they were unwilling to give Jack a steak although he possed the evidence needed to establish Jock's sole ownership, Jack then made it clear he was infact "a EWING"...So why in S14 did Bobby sell the company conflicting with Jock's expressed written wishes n how cld he sell when JR owned on the assets n untill one day my father happened by while i was re-watching the series via Netflix....I began my continued rant n he set me straight...Ppl can only see what the mind is open to receiving....In S6 when Ellie went to court to break jocks will...Bobby n Jr met with Harv Smithfield to discuss their options (At a point Harv advised the boy's Jock'w wishes that no one but a Ewing own Ewing Oil was unenforceable by any court....Once Ewing Oil's charter was revoked n they were forced to cease...Jock's Ewing Oil no longer existed...At the end of S11 when bobby re-acquired the name...their was a rebirth vs a resurrection...The new Ewing oil was bobby's not Jock's...3yrs passed frm the time Bobby re-acquired the name n chose to sell the company in S14...At that time it was clarified that although Jr owned the assets...it had no bearing on Bobby selling the company...Excluding JR's assets merely reduced the value on the open market.....and once the value became clear....It made it more plausible for Michelle to be able to acquire the company.

I've always disliked Bobby. If you're so unhappy about the way the business is ran, leave and tend to the cattle. I hated how they made JR the bad guy to where he always needed to fight for what was rightfully his. Bobby only became the threat after Jock died. Lol. It would have been a different show had I been JR.

I love how one enemy is replaced by another. In this video, Wes Parmalee leaves and BD Calhoun arrives as the Ewings' enemy.

You do a great job of editing these videos, Brad. Hope you make more of them. Such as...Sue Ellen: Drunk. Ray: Self-Righteous. James: Bad Actor.

They intentionally dressed Barbara Eden in pink, the color she wore in Jeannie.

JR Ewing had problems with the Justice Department and they gave to him a list of real estate firms who can purchase Ewing Oil but unknown to him Jeremy Wendell was behind the purchase of the Ewing Oil Company and Ewing Oil Building but eventually Jeremy Wendell lost the Ewing Oil Building and also Jeremy was set to jail for making threats to the Ewing family verbally. I HATED this storyline and tuned out at the conclusion of S10....I often wondered the direction of the show had Jim Davis not died....by S10 Ewing Oil had become an instrumental of the entire show....How do you kill off such an instrumental character?

By this time the writers and creator appear to have tuned out.....Yes, they revived it by the end of S11 but, i was not the same EO, it was Bobby's EO and i don't know why JR wld wanna have anything to do with it or why Bobby wld want him involved when his overzealousness was the sole reason the DOJ revoked their charter...JR destroyed everything his father built and destroyed the Ewing name.....ya can't come back from that.
