Stunts team deserves recognition, they risking their lives to give us a jaw dropping entertainments.

Anyone looking at the comments thinking about watching this: I saw this film because the movie I wanted to watch didn't have any schedules. This was such a phenomenal movie from a technical point of view. The cinematography, the sound design, the action sequences, the acting. The way I see it, I gave it the highest rating since Grand Budapest Hotel. Not to say there weren't any great movies in general in between the 2. But it was just superb.

Ryan Gosling is having a good time these days. With Barbie and now The Fall Guy, man is certainly having a lot of fun with these two roles in showcasing more of his range. As good as he is in dramatic roles like Drive and Blade Runner 2049, the man is absolutely wonderful in comedy movies 👍

Just saw this with my good friend. We are elder girls who crush on Ryan.. But besides that, this movie is SUCH fun! There are more stunt people than actors I'm sure! Action packed, and includes a cool dogo for animal lovers. Worth the theatre experience!

I got the nice guys vibe. I hope the movie turn out to be good.

Oscars should honestly create a best stunt choreography/Practical Effects category. VFX/CGI and Practical Effects are two completely different tools and both should get the right recognition.

I imagine they don’t yet because they don’t have an really clearcut way to judge it because watching the movie you don’t really know how many more stunts is more complicated than another movie because you’re just watching the finish product. Or what work went into it because you’re not seeing the behind-the-scenes of all these movies to judge.

Gosling in this movie is actually perfect ! He played in 2 movies where his character was a literal stuntman - "Place beyond the pines" + "Drive". Now this is the Gosling I know.

This movies was great fun with fantastic action sequences and lots of laughs! I've already seen it twice and it has made me seriously appreciate all the work stunt people do! 👏👏👏👍

It shows the three stunt doubles for him: Justin Eaton, Ben Jenkin and Logan Holladay. Yes Ryan was on that street and yes he did part of a fall. But his stunt doubles did most of the stunts. Do not discount what those men do.

Gosling is arguably the best comic actor at the minute. Anybody who has seen The Big Short, Crazy Stupid Love, Barbie and The Nice Guys knows he can deliver the comedy chops as well the other emotions needed for balanced comedy.

Looks fun. How is best choreography/stuntwork not a recognized award again?

I saw this movie yesterday in a special screening we had in mexico and it was such a fun time!! it was a secret movie so we were all excited to see what it was going to be. i was not expecting to see this one, i thought it would be an already released movie. emily blunt playing a director feels so natural and ryan's charisma is better than ever. great soundtrack and visuals too

David Leitch has really become a director to look out for for me. I love Deadpool 2 and Bullet Train, can't wait for this

Bullet Train is great! The rare movie that is better than the book it is based on, and it isn’t just. Little bit better, it is a lot better.

A category in the oscars wont happen reason alot of stuntmen will start dieing because of bigger and bigger stunts with less safety but alot would die chasing the oscar for best stunt

It will be stunt design, not individual stunts. The award will supposedly go to Stunt Design, which best supports the movie like costimes or hair and make up. Every department is recognized except t h e stunt coordinator. This will be a team award, not an individual award.

The Fall Guy was one of my favorite shows in the 80’s glad to see a Modern Movie Adaptation of it.

I had to scroll down to see if anyone remembered the old series. I wish they would take this title and run it like Mission Impossible... just make a ton of them.

I remember the “fall guy” tv show as a kid. That cool 4x4 always got me when it wax in the air and landing with those cool balloon tires

Saw this movie today and it was awesome! Fully recommend this!!

This is actually a pretty good movie filled with lots of awesome stunts and action

I think these are the best types of reboots. Blockbuster action movies of pulpy 40 years old shows

The theme of this movie is stunts and being meta. This is a movie about making a movie. There's dealing with the consequences of the process of making a movie. It's about people being very aware of what is a movie and what is life and yet choosing the easier path. And kick-ass practical stunts. Which Ryan did some himself. Don't take it seriously and you'll be fine. It's funny and endearing. Grab the popcorn and enjoy.

I think it’s a way to celebrate how much effort our stunt guys put into these films, without them these films just wouldn’t happen, it should be a way to show people how important they are in this business and show our respect for them.
