The FAKE Lifestyle of Rappers

Rap music is full of lies, whether it's rappers lying to make lyrics rhyme perfectly or lying to maintain a certain image-be it wealth or criminality-these folks just never seem to tell the truth. In this video, we look into the concept of "rap cap" and try to answer the question: Why?

I used to listen to rap alot and once wanted to be a rapper. Years later, graduated from civil engineering last year, looking back and around, you'll see just how harmful the scene is. There's gangs of young people drug addicted roaming aimlessly, homeless and refusing to work, dreaming big dreams. Saw even an old classmate who used to skip junior school just hanging out at the bars every time I go to that area, it's frankly sad.

Rap isn't dead. Conservatives took ahold of it and created MAGA rap, a subgenre so hard, even Ben Shapiro can make a #1 hit with it. MAGA rap is the realest and most hardest rap I have heard in 30 years and it is the closest thing to hardcore gangster rap.

The same people that own the record labels, also own prisons. Yes, prisons are privately own. The point of hip-hop is to entice youngsters to commit crimes so they can go to prison. The record company owners make money from the artist and the person incarcerated.

One has to distinguish between fantasy and reality when it comes to rap because everything that a person sees isn’t real. Rap artists sell a fantasy in order to sell music. Not every artist talks about sex, drugs, money and murder. Actual artist that lived a certain lifestyle don’t brag about it.

It’s really Disgusting and Sinister that the record labels want their Rappers to come across as being loaded so the new young Rappers think signing to the same Label as their fav rich Rapper will make them just as rich, it’s like getting the Rappers who are famous now to con and lie to the next generation, So the Label can continue to sign contracts and make the Money while the Rappers are doing all the work, including keeping the flow of contracts being signed, while they remain broke and pretending! Plus it means nothing will change for the benefit of these Rappers because people don’t realise that it’s all fake.

That defense of rap at the end was my only negative takeaway. Basically it's a choice between identifying as victims or glorifying deviant behavior. One simply justifies the other. Both are illusions. That, for me, represents a net loss for society as a whole and the identifying community in particular. Just as bad as that whiny emo rock phase that the world went through, but of course in completely different ways. Rap culture has been, and increasingly continues to be a plague on black culture. Don't get me wrong, I love rap as a medium of music, just as I love rock, but the culture is toxic.

McMill. I know he’s saying meek, but, the accent is too strong. 😂 This is hilarious (and sad simultaneously) to see and hear a foreigner adopt the culture and then expose it.

Rap is only one piece of the five elements of true "HIP HOP" culture! What the "Industry" lables as "rap/hip hop" in modern times in 2024, is TOTAL TRASH, and a disgrace to it's origins!!! What these "artists/human beings" are doing to their own selves is madness... 😢I know many of ya'll out there don't want to hear that, but Yeah, I said it anyway! I'm what y'all youngsters call an "Old Head". I grew up in that culture. So then, F with me if you want to, but you already know I'm droppin' knowledge and speakin' truth in love.! PEEESE!!!

It’s ironic that Jay-Z said to not believe his own lines in his raps because he’s arguably the most truthful rapper in his lines. Just look at his watch collection. Custom Audemars iced directly from the factory, Grande Complication Pateks, yes he has more than one, Richard Milles, and that’s only what he’s been seen wearing
