Great video, bro. I live in NYC and have some friends who work in the diamond district. My friends informed me that sometimes pieces are loaned out to these entertainers if they promote the jeweler's brand and name in their music. Personally, I am convinced jewelry other than gold, platinum, silver, and precious gems are essentially worthless. Diamonds intrinsically have very little value unless they are massive in size and high quality clarity. Personally, I am convinced these jeweler's and powerful diamond companies like Dubeers use these entertainers, especially rappers, to keep promoting jewelry to the masses so that more people can be brainwashed and incentivized to spend their own hard earned money on worthless custom pieces , that only continue to enrich other races of people. Jewelry is a major scam unless you're buying solid gold pieces and precious gems like Saphires, Rubies, Emeralds, and Opals, especially, are some of the most expensive gems.

when i was comming up ones Jewelry was a semi representation of status and what one could afford, not creating a shiny 'target'. The idea was one had to also protect what they had and stay alive

I do love diamond and gold jewellery. Jewellery and precious stones have been there for ages. Used to be means of payment at one point in history. But I just don't own what I can wear as regular jewellery. Rapper level of jewels though? Even if you can afford how are you gonna walk on the street decked out in those without getting robbed? I don't want to have security follow me around all the time like Beyonce ewwww. I prefer Andre 3000 , I could be wrong but I think he walks around among regular people on streets no fanfare
