Victim Mindset 101
When in rome do as the romans do. When you decide to move(legally) wherever; learn the culture, Assimilate, and Participate don't try to destroy and change it.

Hows this about multiculturalism...
his speech ended as soon as it started - In my most humble opinion.
We were never asked.
How about a school program for poor people? Why would you want to provide it to a certain race of people, when you said you couldn't go to to a private school because you were poor
It was interesting to hear what he had to say. I would point out, that he started with demanding "Lights off" then "Lights on" - if he were british, he would have used "Please". Clearly not familiar with the word "Humbleness" either. Would it have been better for him, to have embraced britishness and forgotten about the colour of his skin, and his "roots"? A lot of white british people don't know their "roots" or history, and function in society.
A degree at race and social justice?

Basically another word for toilet paper
"Turn the lights off, please" would have been a more appropriate opening statement. Unfortunately the rest of this discussion follows the same sense of disdain for other people, focussing - rather than on the more important issue of multiculturalism - on a narcissistic exploration of 'me' culture, peppered with the inevitable descent into victim politics. This was an opportunity to consider ways to improve matters but it chose to pursue divisions instead.

If we don't know the problem, how can we find a solution?
What if people say to you “ you got into school because of affirmative action, otherwise you wouldn’t get in” ?

Then they're telling the truth.
What’s funny about this guy is that he claims he was in front of the other kids at school but then wasn’t enrolled on GCSEs cause he wasn’t smart enough, having to do the lower ability BTEC instead. Then he says he went to 6th form but they wouldn’t let him do A levels and so he had to do the lower ability course for these as well. Whatever odd university let him, I don’t think we’re talking a future prime minister of the new republic he seeks to be the founding father of. 🤔
Are you learning about Africa? Rwanda Zimbabwe South Africa?
This resonates with me so much. I never felt seen in school. I was never really able to relate to the assigned materials. I have always been told that I can't be oppressed because I "present as white". But when teachers tell a kid that their culture is made up, or that they should know the references in a text because they are universal, when in fact they are xtian, and when a student is constantly correcting teachers it is exhausting. As far as representation goes, the only representations of my people in the media are stereotypes, never played by us. You would think that they would be able to find at least one of us who actually knows something or do some research, but no. It's frustrating. sigh
He could have come to the U.S. and entered one of our HBCUs. He would have been a gem at Morehouse.
whing, whinge, whinge, moan, moan do we ever hear anything but from the permanently offended and put out BAME's !!!
Geeza says how intelligent he is and ended up at goldsmiths? Goldsmiths was rank 111th out of 130 odd universities in the UK. Proper delusions of grandeur.
Maybe change the title to “Multiculturalism - My Story”. Might keep more of the haters away. 💪🏽
Hi I'm jerry from linkin I sub to your channel I like what you are talking about link up with me
What an extremely opinionated young man!!! He calls the Caribbean home not the UK. No wonder he gets negative feedback.
In the spirit of 'me culture' peeves outlined in this video I politely request that, if the speaker is to refer to his thesis he should do so using the correct pronunciation. It is too easy to mishear "fee-sis" as 'faeces' and this could lead to unfair judgements of the speaker's work.
He's a smart guy. Should have used that smart for something more useful than race and social justice studies. Such a pity.

I don't see any intellectual here!
Very gifted speaker. I wish him all the best!
I would like to engage in a debate about multiculturalism, but would be accused of racism. Think about that
Oh god, worst Ted talk I’ve had to endure.
He should go to Africa to be with his own
I'm sorry but what does this speech got to do with failure of multiculturalism? Just a literal actor and a student of some useless study program whinning about racism
But you have a very strong accent?
What country can I go to with my cultures and receive benefits for housing and food. Maybe we should just swap family for family and swap countries. Then we both receive free benefits. I'm smart.
This guy is just talking about himself.
fyi dont watch this. waste of time if ur looking for muliculturlism
This incoherent nonsense has nothing to do with the title. Downvote and move on.
