Honestly I may be weird and I probably am but i find the usage of saxophone in tech death very stylish and cool. Cause you know I think that tech death have more things in common with jazz than people would admit.

This is a masterpiece. Like, EVERYTHING sounds so good. Tasty. Heavy. The sax put it over the top. I love the saxophone (alto, tenor, soprano, bari, doesn't matter), so that was delightful.

I personally found the wind instruments add some dynamic to the song that would set it aside from the other songs.... I don't mind it, sounds cool also

Lyle's drumming is so tasteful during Michael Keene's solo. Just laid back, not doing too much, letting the guitar solo shine. That's talent.

Whatever we can say about Michael Keene, absolutely all his albums are masterpieces. His musical universe is absolutely unique and brilliant.

Bruh the sax solo into the guitar solo, honestly my favorite solo of all time. It just sounds amazing to my ears.

One of the few musically gifted bands left. I love the combination of clean vocals, growls, beautiful guitar solos, prog, thrash and melody. Even the jazz influence was fantastic. Their ability to create this musical masterpiece is genius.

Probably being the only Christian here, Faceless still remains one of my favorite bands right now. Even though I completely disagree with what this song is telling me I can still enjoy it. I've always love metal and every type of music and I won't let God get in my way of being myself, because it is not a sin. 1 Timothy 6:17 says God provides us with everything for our own enjoyment. I know you guys don't want to hear that but I felt like it needed to be said. There are a lot of stereotypes in this world.

Just heard them for the first time about a month ago. I saw them with Between the Buried and Me (best performance I've ever experienced btw) and these dudes are pretty sick.

This is a superior level of songwriting respect the average tech metal bands, and not only for the funny unpredictable sax solo.

Every now and then, i come back to this masterpiece.

They have an amazing bass player..

These guys just seem go get more creative as they go, love it!

the solo is just amaizing...

I know man! It sucks because I really enjoyed this album, specially the first 4 songs.

You know whats funny is I remember reading an interview with Michael Keene where he said his favourite band was the Norwegian Christian death metal band; Extol. I think their sound was a huge influence on The Faceless and Extol are one of the best bands Ive ever heard
