The problem is Australia and our citizens have been and are easy going kind hearted people who extend the hand of friendship and compassion to all who seek refuge from oppression, we give public housing, financial support and free health care and education without question to all who ask for assistance, our politicians are eager to please the United nations for various personal reasons, now we find a certain group has taken advantage of our generous nature and seek to impose their ideology on us thinking we like our politicians are weak and ineffective because of our compassion towards them, these are the same people who started civil war in Jordan, lebanon and tried to start civil war in Egypt

Well said James Paterson, and pls hurry up and do something. It appears that elbow is so conflicted with his ideas that he is constantly on the cusp of the divided road.

Eloquent, honest, and balanced. It is a great speech, and it is good to see the truth bought to the Senate floor and the Australian public. Thank you to ALL who worked on exposing this group. It's important we know who the people are stoking the domestic unrest and targeting of members of our community. Knowledge crucial to counter their destructive actions. Albanese has sat on his hands and let these risks escalate despite advice to the government. It's well past time for him to act. I hope in the coming days that this group is listed and action is taken against its members by government agencies. No Australian should be targeted or terrorised in their own country. It is deeply shameful that a whole section of our community has been made vulnerable for the sake of political agendas and platitudes to foreign states or parties. I've never been ashamed to be an Australian until recently. Now I wonder whether our nation can ever repair the damage the neglect of this government has caused. I also respect James Patterson..I view him as PM material...however in regards to the Palestine question theres an easy way to end the rubbish...a 2 state solution. It doesnt suit Israel OR America to get rid of HAMAS...they would have no choice but to create the 2 state solution...thus it wont matter who is the incumbent government...they will do what they're told by the US in regards to this matter.
