Hello! I really like your channel and what you do as a historical musician. I would be really interested to see a video in which you show off the 4 different Eras of bassoon you own, how they play, and what they sound like. Amazing work!

Thanks! I will certainly be working on more videos about my instruments, but for now I only have one about my baroque bassoon: kzread.info/dash/bejne/X4Z816OFkbLSiZM.html You can also see some performances via the channel of my classical instrument: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iWWg0ciJebLafpc.html More to come! Thanks!

Thanks! Yes, it was a great course and looking at music from an improvisatory tradition really opened my eyes to a number of things. Regarding Tony’s book, I think everyone should read it. It’s one of the few books about conceptualizing performance in our tradition, but not everyone will understand or appreciate his approach. Amazon categorizes it under “occult and paranormal”. I can tell you after having taken classes with him for 6 years that it was much easier to understand the book while being able to talk to him directly about it.
