Contra is a series of fast-paced run-and-gun shooters from Konami. The Contra series began with the release of Contra (1987) for the arcade, but has since been on many other consoles and systems. Beyond the changes in graphics, sound and gameplay schemes that the saga has undergone in each title, there is always a common denominator: the unusual difficulty and the number of times that the suffering players witness the game over screen.

Bits & Beats creates videos about the history of video games. In this channel you'll find comparisons, retrospectives, technical analysis, but, mostly, game curations with the idea of having an important task of preserving video games, and make them relevant to society at large.
