Special forced operatives train to speed up their brains - sort of what automatically happens when you are in a car accident and the adrenaline rush speeds up you brain functions and appears to slow down time. It has bee said that they voluntarily use some special drugs (during advanced training) to induce that state at a critical period. Once they have done enough training, they can induce it though mind-control. Imagine the focus you can attain when you know that happens. No proof of that, of course, but there have been security 'leaks' about that taking place.

Just don't forget the quote that opened the movie. 'What are the two most important days in your life? The day you are born, and the day you found out why." Also, when he was talking about that book - "A man has to be a man and fish has to be a fish"

Bob, short for Robert, is a former Marine and CIA officer so that's why he fights the way he does. He doesn't have powers! He's just very observant and looks around for what he can use as weapons. He can't slow time down, there's nothing sinister going on and he's not a serial killer. He feels like he needs to make up for all the killings he was part of when worked for the government so now he helps weak and the oppressed people. Definitely check out Equalizer 2. I actually liked it better than this one. Plus, Pedro Pascal, (Joel from The Last of Us) is in it.

The writer of the most iconic version of The Punisher and the guy that gave us the definitive version of The Punisher, the legend Mike Baron, was asked at a ComicCon panel who he thought the best Punisher was. At the time, the Punisher had several movies already, multiple show appearances and was getting his own Netflix show. Mike Baron said "Denzel Washington in The Equalizer"

Exactly. The point is that Robert doesn't work for anybody or acting irrationally or impulsive driven by pure anger and wrath (like john wick) but instead tries to stay under the radar and only acts when he sees it's absolutely necessary. When he acts it's always thoughtful and calculated and only what's necessary. Some may say when he took out the russians it was over the top, however he was 1 against 5 so the only way to reach the goal was to go full in. John Wick does "play around" way too much which actual weapon and martial arts experts have already pointed out. Actual special forces try to minimize variables and don't take chances. You have one shot and you have to get it right with the least risk for youself or others. He's driven by the urge to putting things right which are wrong from his perspective. So it's kinda part of his OCD character. Yes, what he does is still wrong and we know it. This is not how justice works by our own rules. Though he goes after those which do not play by the rules either and those who sneak through. When corrupt cops and people in power are covering such businesses, justice falls dead in its tracks. This still doesn't make it right what he does, but gives some kind of satisfaction that he brings their own game back to them in order to equalize the odds. Of course he's also only driven by his own subjective sense of morality and justice and you better hope it aligns with your own :)

I really enjoyed Equalizer 1 with you guys as it’s my fourth time watching it😁🔥. Robert McCall is one of Denzel Washington’s most iconic characters and one of my roles of his🤩. The story was great and not dragged as it was well timed, and I loved the action sequences, and the way it was choreographed was so well done and it looked so precise when Denzel did it. I watched Equalizer 3 yesterday at the theaters and I really liked it. I hope you guys react to Equalizer 2 and 3 soon as I’ll be looking forward to it. Loved your reaction/analysis, take care, enjoy life, stay healthy and have a good one❤️

@@Yatt___ most people in the CIA start out in a branch of the basic military. But he was strictly CIA when he "died". And if you notice, the lady he went to for "permission" to take out Teddy said "I'm not at the Agency anymore" meaning the CIA. He very well may have started out in the military, but that's not what he was in when he faked his death, he was strictly CIA at that point. Special Forces are under the military. That's who we send for a hostage situation, rescue mission, or some other military operation. A CIA operative is who we would send to infiltrate the inner circle of a public figure overseas or to gather intelligence. To think the two are the same thing shows a lack of basic understanding of what they do and how they operate. Everyone thinks "special forces" is a blanket term that covers everything. Not even close.

The Pips were the male part (3 men) who were the background + choreography of "Gladys Knight & Pips. And I believe that Alina knew exactly how far his help went. There is also communication between prostitutes. Suddenly the members of this criminal group were eliminated. This is noticeable to everyone who has to work and suffer in this terrible profession. Great work from both of you.

I've experienced that and I'm sure many people reading this have also had that happen. With the 'right' training, I've heard a person can learn to do that. That skill can give you an edge if you are expecting it to take place - correct?
