At 4:53 Chricton kicks straight into the arms of Cobbo and is held back by Brisbane defenders. Watch the work from Scott Sorrenson, he quickly plugs the gap where Chrichton would have been defending, Cobbo looks up sees him, hesitates and Crichton is able to recover and make the tackle. Its the 73rd minute, Sorrenson is fatigued but makes the effort to be there, if he isn't Cobbo probably runs 90ms and scores game over. It's efforts like this that make Penrith a champion team.

The moment Cleary broke through and setup Leota, he became possessed. What an incredible performance from him, the 40/20, catching Reynolds drop out on the full, converts Crichtons try and scores the winner himself. Immortal

Possessed? The only thing possessing him is a banana on his chin. Broncos were their own enemy. They allowed the panthers to score on the back of so many errors. So no cleary like tedesco hynes and Munster would’ve done the exact same thing. If you watched the game you would’ve seen when the broncos were in their season form in the middle of the match they dominated your little possessed boy and the panthers. So no your wrong just admit it the broncos were their own enemy.

Still don’t get how other fans think that the nrl favour Penrith. One of the smaller market, suburban teams in the comp along side Cronulla. They also don’t have prestige that the dragons, or bunnies have. If anything the nrl would be cheering on for a Bronx win in an economic and business sense. 37k memberships, the only team in the second biggest nrl city, growing population due to upcoming olympics. But again as they say, rugby league is a simple and working man’s game

This time he missed a crucial tackle on Cleary and he drop kick the ball out on the full. Anyways, nextyear will be Broncons year. I remember the Panthers had a young team and they built a alot of confidence throughout the years and mantained a positive mindset towards winning, few years later they won 3 consecutive championships. So, hold your head up high Broncos, you have a young team. So build up your confidence move forward, take the loss as a lesson to be better nextyear. The simple common sense to send in the short bomb on their last set, giving his defence time to get there and take away the chance for the broncs to swing and run was as smart as it gets.

Not taking anything away from Penrith...but that last try was absolutely horrible défense from the broncos..to have 4 people miss a diagonal runner that isn't stepping is disgusting knowing that it's either win or lose moment...

So proud of my home-town club! When I lived there 40 years ago we were the easybeats, the perennial wooden-spooners. Now three titles in a row! And the gretest comeback since Lazarus! Nathan Cleary's performance, his 40:20 with a few minutes left, was amazing.
