I always loved the artistic aspects of this show. The mix of animation styles and occasionally use of puppets and stop motion. The way the fabric patterns are “animated” fascinated me as a little kid. Then there’s all the creativity that went into making these fictional foods and ingredients. Oh a d the 4th wall breaks gave me life. The show doesn’t get enough love 😭

The episode where they ran out of money to animate the show and the whole thing reverted to the voice actors themselves was one of the most hilarious episodes from any cartoon i've ever watched, that is what you call brilliant story telling! i miss this show so much.

Man Chowder really is a classic. I was always eager to see the strange recipes and ingredients as a kid.

@@SH19922x Stole? I’m pretty sure there have been animations before Pokémon that used basic facial features, like two dots for eyes. I’ve seen plenty of mangas and animes, plus lots of older cartoons did it. Chowder is a whole show of its own. Plus, even if they admitted to getting the idea from Pokémon, it’s inspiration. Not stealing.

Crazy that I can remember every single episode of this show. So memorable, so much heart in every aspect. I should watch it again.

My favorite episode is when they became super rich so we see the real life voice actors which was insanely awesome.

They put so much effort into this cartoon and it's just perfect

The Endives telling Panini that she felt bad about what she done to Mung in the fruit episode, was very emotional.

Chowder, Courage, and Miss Adventures of Flapjack are absolutely so classical and amazing I also love that all the clothing with patterns are just overlays of the pattern over the screen, its my favorite effect I'm hoping to use when i get more into animation

This show is simply one of the best CN produced and released shows during their golden age! I remembered getting up early sunday mornings to watch this 😅 and asking my parents to stay up late during some school nights to watch this and ed edd and eddy! Good Times!😊

I love how artistic the world is, both visually and with its own internal logic. It reminds me of an exotic version of Mario world. If we ever get another American mario show, i want this team to do it.

Chowder was one of the last shows I truly watched as a kid before I hit that age where I just started doing a lot of dumb shut outside with friends on the daily. I remember watching chowder on CN it was one of my favorite shows as a kid, i remember the episode where the writers made a gag on one episode where mung was broke because he and chowder were breaking stuff so they had to borrow money then it cut off to the actual cast doing car wash to make enough money to continue the episode 😂

One of my favorite moments was when there were two people dressed up in a similar fashion that reminded me of the Mario Bros. It was one of the funniest and most interesting things that I found as a kid

I've never had cable. So now I appreciate this, I can finally understand what people are talking about, that and know what the cartoon characters are.

I prefer the puppet segments in the credits over the occasional stop motion segments during the show, the later can be very creepy many times. It’s surprising to see that Mung and Truffles have been together forever. Truffles’ beautiful southern accent reminds me of present day Rouge the Bat. Baron Von Bon Bon is basically a gender swap of Baroness Von Bon Bon from Cuphead.
