Some details: 1 - I want to start making video game reviews from now on. Maybe insert a few jokes and some funny hand drawn images to add to the style, something like that. As much as I enjoy making lore videos I still want to branch out to other content too, so stay tuned for that. 2- A lot of people are saying that the picture of Pump's grandfather mentioned in the photograph section is actually Mr. Clown which was apparently confirmed in a Twitter post by Sr Pelo himself, if you have the actual Tweet please comment the link below and I will edit this post accordingly to include it. 3 - I have no reason to believe that Bob Velseb is Lila's father. This just doesn't make sense. Lila would have easily recognised the resemblance between her father and a serial killer and would not have acted surprised at seeing the photograph. I think the reason why Bob appears in the background of the photo is because he's either a family friend or because Boys and Grills does catering events hence his cap. It would be unwise to just assume that Bob is Lila's father without much evidence otherwise we could say the same about Mr. Clown HEHEHEHEHEHEHE. 4 - The artwork featured during the book segment of the video is not Sr Pelo's it is mine. I wanted to depict what I think the story represented in a much easier way compared to my previous video where I just read the entire script without much input. The book itself and the illustration of the tree as well as any other ARG footage does belong to Sr Pelo.

When you play too much trivia crack

A theory i have is that robbers play a bigger role. In the new papers, it states that the two robbers also escaped around the same time as bob, meaning that the cult could of helped them escape as well. It could be possible that the cult hired the two to steal the cult items that lila has in her house. But since they got caught, the cult probably released bob to cause a distraction , forcing lila to leave the house unattended and forcing the police to focus all of their attention on catching Bob. Thus giving them the perfect opportunity to go back to the house to steal the items they failed to get

I think that Bob may not be asociated with the cult, since the amulett has a large bitemark, which implies that he ate it or the person wearing it. He also doesn't act according to the plan of the cult because he actively wants to murder skid and pump without sacrificing them in a ritual. Another interessting point is that the mayor wants Bob to be found as quickly as possible while ignoring the concerns about the cult. The amulett also does not seem like an object you would just let anyone get his hands on, wich makes it seem very weird to me, that the cult would just give it to a murderer in an experiment.

The amulet is broken, likely due to being shot several times (it was in his chest, where he was shot), and may have been further mangled when he was ran over. That "bite mark" could easily be an indentation from getting shot repeatedly, like the other dents.

I actually have a theory about this. Somehow Skid and Pump are related o the cults plan. And they both met the Eyes of the Universe. And Bob was sent to “kill” them. It was actually a test. They were seeing if the kids are actually the ones they’re looking for.

Honestly, I applaud Sr Pelo for making this series (as well as many others). Spooky Month really has improved over the years, and it's nice to see that it has interesting lore as well. I'd die for it to become a TV series though, because a lot of the stuff from the series kinda reminds me of Gravity Falls a bit.

i think tthe reason lila tore up the photograph is definitly because it was a close encounter, because Bob is LITTERALLY sanding right behind her. also on the point of the cult's green diamond symbol being all around the mayor's building, is that its also the main symbol on the town flag seen next to the mayor

I think Skid's dad is almost certainly the one who wrote that Latin book. In it, it talks about someone discovering immortality. In the photos, we can see that Skid's dad is a grown man when Lila is young, and looks the same when she's an adult. There's also that old black and white photo of him. But, we know that he is dead, it is confirmed. But I think that his soul is possessing the mannequin, allowing him to continue living. So, yeah, papa is immortal, and will return in the last episode, episode 12 (according to Pelo)

So far, I've learned a few things about the Spooky Month Series, the eyes of the universe are in almost every episode (only when skid and pump are on screen), the dad is dead (as confirmed by a Sr Pelo tweet on Father's day) and might be the author to the book since they seem to be the only one that is related to the cult and successfully found and control a vessel aside from the exterminator but that's probably on accident since he kills animals for his own pleasure plus Molok, and Sr Pelo is really good at hiding a bunch of small details.

Dexter's possession is entirely the fault of the Happy Fella doll, as there is writing on the box indicating that the doll is a vessel for souls. There is also an ad in the episode 3 newspaper ARG page where someone mentions that their son possessed a Happy Fella doll.

GOD DAMMIT I WANT MOREEEEEE btw when it mencioned that 6 children needed for the ritual blah blah blah, at first i also though of the 6 main kids too, but then i realised that Lila and her friends (the ones that appeard in the picture) as kids were intended to be the sacrificed in this kind of ritual. If you think about it, the ones that appeard in the photo ( Lila, Jaune, Frank, Pump`s dad, Skid`s dad and Jhon) are actually involved with things related to the cult. Jhon researches and tracks down the cult, Frank kidnaps children to make parents more carefull (like u said) so the cultist doesnt get near them, and for Lila, Jaune, Skid`s dad and Pump`s dad, they are literally the parents of 4 of the main 6 children. So idk about u but i like mah theory.

I may have a personal theory about Dexter , taking into account the fact demons can poses people , and that Bob may be possed by one such as a glutonny devil . Maybe what Sr.pelo refered in his comment as "lust to kill" is literal like maluck posed him because his affinity to that . Same can be said about bob and his obsession with food . Maybe the cult is training to capture or bring the seven deadly sin demons into the town . This might be a explanation worth investigating. (Sorry for bad English , it's my second language)

I do still think the mannequin is possessed by skids dad because like you said, he probably wants to be closer to the family in the picture also the only person that’s dead in the picture other than himself is grandma but the mannikin was already moving before she even died

I think Bob's claymation form is just a little funny little animation joke that pelo put in

Surprised to see no mention that Skid might be dead (he's shown as an actual skeleton at least once and isn't affected by Eyes), and that Lila could have sacrificed her husband (with his consent or otherwise) to bring him back. Also some people seem to think Skid is a girl due to the haircut in photos.

I have a shocking theory that why Pump eyes is blue, because if you look at this scene at 8:57 you can see Bob eyes turn blue just like Pumps eye and in fact in 11:04 you can see the necklace gem in middle with the same colour as Bob and Pump eyes, since Bob is with the cult, does that make Pump secretly working with the cult too?

That last part about the mayors office having the cult symbol is something I have never noticed, but this could hint that the mayor has some ties in with the cult, i mean the entire police force being on bobs track's, the whole mansion that had the clown being shot in probably not investigated,blaming sheriff's house being burned down as a stupid coffee related accident not to mention the aggressiveness of it. This just doesn't mean it's a recent thing from what we know, the cult has been operating for a long long time,and who knows if they might be getting close to finishing what they plan or not. This could make sense considering if we considered Bob as a distraction away from the cults activities along with being a useful pawn,"every Halloween he kills more people" Bob kills people, but not every body must be of his own doing. If the cult operates heavily on Halloween, then Bob being set loose on Halloween is the perfect decoy, they could just chalk up thier murders as his,and no one suspects another party being involved. Also no one mentions that the fact that the amulet that gives them immortality can break, and it can break with a reasonable amount of force since a car running over Bob broke it.

I find it interesting that a Happy Fella doll shows up in the background of the candy shop scene. We know Dexter is dead, unless his soul went to a third doll, but it could also be someone else that is possessing it since we already know that other people can possess the dolls when they die.

And to think that this was some meme Sr Pelo created five years ago just to be silly...

The applauding kids might be able to help the police. Something tells me the mouse would be pretty good at finding things.

I like to think that Bob was an innocent butcher that felt victim to the cults first experiments with beyond human/paranormal abilities and Lila knows it, explaining why she dosent have true malice towards Bob and feels bad for the guy as it’s not he’s fault. I like to think he’s a corpse slowly decaying and if he dosent consume food he will just start loosing skin limbs and eventually die making sense why he can come back from the dead and also the lifeless like emotions he shows

I think the author of the book is Skid's dad/ Lila's husband, and is the same book as 'The Great Man' that Lila was reading (which would explain the cult stuff in the attic). 'The Great Man' says its author is Simon, which would be the name of the Dad.

Something interesting i noticed is that Carmen’s necklace changes color. it’s white in the shop, then teal when she’s confronting Roy, and darker blue when she’s in the car. Her necklace also looks very similar to the one on the cult members, just without the amulet. We already know the uncle is connected to the cult, so perhaps her and richard are connected to the cult as well? This could be an animation mistake but it’s still cool to think about.

Maybe the reason why the town hall has the same symbol as the cult is because the founder of the town is a cult member or the very first cultist???🤔 Also, I would like to think that the reason Bob died is because the necklace's regenerative powers stopped working because it got broken due to the fact that Bob got runover by the police car multiple times. The amulet is broken when the doctor put it away in a zip bag... but that's just my theory.

You know Bob reminds me of a serial killer named Joe Metheny in which because they both killed and cooked their victims and served them up to customers at the restaurant they worked at and judging from what I last remember Joe died in 2017 and I feel that it's extremely coincidental that this Spooky Month took place in 2015, and I bet that Bob was partially based on Joe Metheny.

When pump looks at bob's body, his eyes turn the greenish color (which is probably because of the amulet inside of Bob which was shown in the newgrounds version) and right before Bob gets shot his eyes turn green (which means the amulet was somehow activated in some way). After he gets shot, his eyes are red with green pupils, which likely means that he is dead and the green means that the amulet is giving him some sort of powers to stay alive (like a zombie). But when he gets ran over a couple of times, the amulet breaks (in the newgrounds version it seems damaged- likely from getting crushed by the car), which causes him to lose his powers and die.

That guy in the photo is not Mr. Wonder. We already have photos of a younger Mr. Wonder and he looked remarkably different.

A 3rd theory about bob is that he hasn't aged at all implying he isn't human and how he was able to get the post credits cult amulet in the first place, as he may have been summoned by the cult

I went back and rewatched the 1st episode by Sr pelo and something I noticed is that if you watch the video with captions on, there are various things that stand out including a code in the first 13 seconds (after the Jason reference in captions is made) that says "0094 30094" I also saw the license plate number of Frank's van reading, "kys23" There are obviously other things I just wanted to point this one out here. I also encourage others to watch the first episode and the rest with captions to see if they noticed anything else in particular

Another thing is the coloring of Roy’s moms necklace I don’t know if this is something big or I’m overthinking it but it’s about the same colors as the necklace and Roys uncle had access to the mansion could say that Roy’s family is related to the cult

Oh boy, I've got a lot to say: I'm suprised you didn't notice Bob's eyes had glew similar to Pump's eyes after he is resurrected. The color of the regenerator has the similar color to that of the Eyes of The Universe, which connects the cult and also connects to one of my previous theories saying that the cult harnesses the different gifts the EOTU gives them, implying that Bob could be an experiment or a member all together. The photo with Bob standing behind Leela, as well as the way Leela looks sad for Bob after she tears out the photo, might mean that Bob is Leela's father. The way her face looks as looks at the ripped photo is almost remorseful, as she wants to like him and be happy with him but cannot bear to have these emotions after what he did. Also, when we ses the photo of Skid at Boy's and Grills, she wear a hat with the logo on it. Now, not only do very few restaurants sell merch like hats, but Skid's hat also looks like the one Bob wears. With this, I think that Bob is Leela's father, and Bob loved her back as well as his granddaughter. Bob loved Skid so much that he even gave Skid one of Boy's and Grill's hats (possibly when he was an employee, and has now graduated to being a manager, judging from the tuxedo Bob wears in the center photo in his house). Then, Leela might have caught Bob at a bad time commiting a murder or hearing about what her Dad had done, feeding human meat to customers, which might have not only triggered her knowing that she and her kid could have eaten human meat, as well as that meat possibly coming from kids.

Maybe it's to soon to "press X" on him, but the Mayor is ultra sus in my eyes. The way in which he shushes John on his cult theory doesn't feel to me like it's just "yeah, yeah, conspiracies. Good, now back to work" but more a "d-d-don't think about a thing I'm TOTALLY NOT affiliated to. Focus on Bob, thanks.". Beside the fact that Bob is a total nod to Michael Myers (like Mr. Clown is to It, Dexter to Chuckie, Moloch to... ehm... the Exorcist, maybe? The "turn your head 360° to prove your a demon" might be it), he's more a nod to Michael Myers of the Thorn Cult... in which a very important person of the town was a member. It's a stretch I know. But then again, how could the mayor know John's house was "a fire hazard"? Unless invited (but then again, why an ego-centric mayor would be invited to a policeman's house, that may or may not be the police chief?) how could he know he had too much paper to burn in the first place? Or that "he always leaves [HIS OWN] coffee maker on"? MMMMMM...

I think the mayor knew and he is affiliated with the cult. Also, the guy who burnt down John's house is Ignacio. You can see that Ignacio has bandages practically covering him.

Also, the vampire guy at the haunted house actually has his own short and the sad thing is he actually cares about the kids and their experience in the haunted house and he gets murdered

Even though this may be a bit awkward or even a bit gross to talk about, I really think Lila and her dead husband actually had a really big age gap considering how old/new their childhood photos looked like. As seen in Tender Treats we can see Lila in her childhood with Jaune in a picture with color as well as her husband ofc blurred/scratched out of the photo but he seems to be more taller than the rest of the kids there. But in one of the older episodes of Spooky Month (I think it's was the Happy Fella episode near the end) we can see in the backround a picture of Lilas husband (probably when he was a kid or a teen) in more of a black-in-white/brown color meaning this taken was before colors could be put in photos. I like to think that the cult can bring youth to anyone who follows it because of Bob and Lila's husband because how we can see that bob and Lila's husband were already a grown men in Lila's childhood photos. Also, Lila and her husband's relationship wouldn't be too unnatural because underaged marrage was more common back then so it wouldn't be too far off. I also like to think that Bob and Lila may be related (perhaps her father) but that's more of a silly theory I had becuase of Bob being a part of the cult and knowing Lila's association with it and trying to hunt her down for it.

Another thing that never gets brought up about this episode is that when Bob is attacking them in the police car, Pump seems to get in front of Jaune and after skid gets mad at Bob Pump says "you know we've already won-" but gets cut off. Idk if that means anything, I've asked some and have been told it might be refering to hide and seek they were playing, but considering Pump's eyes were blue, it might have a deeper meaning.

I noticed a couple of things 1. Bob's eyes glow like pump's at 8:41 2. The tree has a skull Amulet. Maybe inferring a connection between skid and the tree 19:53 3. Maybe skid is parsley named after the tree? This is a far stretch since we don't know it's name 4. The tree is closely tied with skeletons like skid. 17:13 the tree is shown next to a skeleton 5. Eyes and the tree have a strong connection to one another, maybe skid and pump represent them each having a feature that matches them? 6. Maybe the dad was the one who started the cult and wrote the book, and tried to sacrifice skid after he did something wrong, which in episode 6 he wants to be good to Lilla,

I waited ever since the last episode and honestly it was totally worth it. Great job with this video!

Probs to bob being the first antag to actually scare skid and pump

In a Post Sr.Pelo made for Father’s Day, he posted pictures saying Rick is Pumps and Susie’s dad, and Skids… dead

My personal headcanon as to why pumps eyes glow blue is because of the monster Eyes, in Eyes' debut episode only Pump was the one to be affected by Eyes' powers. But since Eyes' had ended up becoming fond of the children, perhaps the powers that affected Pump allow Eyes to sense any impending danger close by, and any supernatural entities too. A theory I came up with is maybe because Eyes was inside the mansion that the cult was using, he maybe is bound or has connections to the cult. Making it so that whenever anything related to Eyes is in close proximity to the same amulet Bob has, they glow. And the only reason why Pumps eyes glowed when he was shot was because there was a gap for the amulets power to shine through.

Theory time: what if Frank is Skid’s dad. 1. He was in the photo 2. He was close to Lila 3. He is merciful to skid and pump 4. His kidnapping must be related to the cult in some way, hence the robe and amulet

Now that we have the trailer of episode 6, so far it feels like Patty got infected or something by Moloch (based on the dexter file pic), she has the same eyes, and her mask "mouth" is different, kinda like it was moloch's teeth behind, but we'll get the answer soon We also see Skid sad while holding a photo frame (we dont see the photo) and Lila trying to reassure him or something: possible chance its about his dad

I think that in the beginning, Pump's eyes are glowing because he sees something supernatural.

i did wonder how bob died when the amulet was supposed to give him immortality, but then i realized that the reason he died could be because the amulet stopped working, there is a chip in the amulet a bunch of dents in it most likely from the bullets when they shot him, which could mean that if the amulet is damaged enough it will stop working, which could be a weakness for the cult, if the amulets gets destroyed, they will become vulnerable.

I love that pelo is all for this series too ^^ I don't think Bob is possessed because pump's eyes would glow their usual blue glow like they did with Dexter while he was possessed. Also Bob's eyes glow blue when he comes back to life which is interesting seeing the necklace also has the same color of blue. It's very possible that the cult harnessed powers from the lovecraftian being that was encountered a few episodes ago.

By the way, in my point of view, Bob looks like an adult in the photo so maybe she had a close friendship with Bob when she would come to his workplace. I think that's why she looked sad looking back at the photo. It's a (possible) logical theory. Maybe she was the one who found out the party's meat was human and he felt very betrayed and is trying to kill her in his rage. Do you think some of my theory is correct, possible, or not likely? I would like to imagine that Bob would give Lila extra meat if they had a close friendship. Kinda cute. If Bob hates Lila's husband, maybe they both found this out. Still, I believe it's a close friendship is their past connection

Also note: the person that pulls susie under her bed wasn't bob but it was pump idk why because his eyes only glow when he sees demons but yea

Something that I don't think you mentioned was the fact that at 8:41 when Bob again tried to kill the kids his eyes turned the same color blue as Pumps which I think implies that Bob has at some point seen the eyes of the universe furthering the theory that Bob is part of the cult.

Yeah, the previous episode takes place in January, as you can see a news segment on the TV about Bob at the end of the episode. This means he was out killing people for 10 more months before Halloween.

I don't think eating candy is really a "ritual" for Bob as much as it is just another craving of his alongside flesh, possibly even more so. I like that Pelo kept his character consistent with the first one, with him even still willing to do the Spooky Month dance.

Your theories are great, also I have a theory that skid and pump's names aren't actually skid and pump because no one in the series refers to them as that and there was drawing of susie and pump with the writing saying from susie and will- pump, this measlns pump's name could be William or something

Theory I had: What if Bob is actually Lila’s father in law (husband’s dad) and got Lila’s husband into the cult. He left later due to Lila’s pregnancy and Bob got angry cause his son chose his wife over his father so he hunted and killed Lila’s husband but it went down as a disappearance. Then in that scene Lila realizes that Bob was actually her husband’s father. They probably went to Boys and Grills because Lila’s husband’s dad worked there.

I think the reason lila was so distraught when she saw bob in her photo is that it is implied that she has eaten human meat and gave her son human meat.

i personally think that the reason Pump's eyes turn blue is because The Eyes of The Universe is possesing him to keep him and Skid out of trouble

It's just amazing that this series was just a funny Halloween short and then becoming a series with very interesting lore in it. And it is awesome that this series does bring a lot people and artists together.(including myself. This series has seriously made me very happy and I am just glad it's getting the popularity it deserves. Btw love these lore videos!)

17:59 okay, basically It says that they would need to sacrifice children for immortality, and if you google "moloch" you will see that it's a Canaanite deity associated in biblical sources with the practice of child sacrifice, so basically it could be Moloch? But it's also a bit confusing, becouse i though of the eyes of the universe at first, also at 18:21, there needs to be 6 children, right? So, we saw that in the first (I think) episode of spooky month, the clown kidnaps a child, and we know that the clown is a part of the cult thanks to a video (where the clown gets killed too), and also, first I thought of eyes to be the demon they were worshipping also because it lives right under the cult's place, and I think that the one in the book might be skid's dad, and that he could be the cult's leader (and that would also make Lila want to forget him).

Issue is, there's more than 7 of them. I think about 10, also counting the clown and Skid's dad.

You know, something that we've been neglecting to mention is that, if someone in Skid's family did have some affiliation to the Cult, that could explain how Skid and Pump found a real working Ouija board in the attic to summon Mulloch in the first place.

I thought Bob Velseb was the husband, until I saw the photo of younger Lisa with Bob. Perhaps there was no husband, and Lisa’s dad was just helping around the house, similar to Pump’s grandpa. Maybe the mannequin is just a kind spirit. (Yes, I read the pinned comment, but Lisa looked very surprised at the photo. Same way you would act if you’re dad looked like a serial killer.) The clay version is just a goofy thing, I don’t think it would be related to lore, especially since no characters react to him being made of clay.

I see you're starting to second guess the established conclusion that Dear Old Dad died. To that I say, Pelo already made a tweet conforming that he's dead and buried in the cemetery. I'm also sure you know of the skeleton, of most likely Dad, right next to the spider in episode one.

Yeah, we can see this body in epsiode one and we've seen his grave in the cemetery, and Pelo's said he's dead. I'm a big fan of the theory that has corpse is 0ossessing the mannequin.

All of the stuff about pumps eye glowies have to do with the cult/eyes of the universe. But, Susie. However.... the emojis in her stream. They were emojis of Bob.

may i point out that the little blue square on the cult amulet is not only found on the top of the mayor's office, but also on the flag of the town and in the spooky month logo ( inside the o of "month").

One thing I noticed is that when bob is trying to kill the boys,June and lily his eyes glow teal like pumps when he gets angry
