Shrook420 Vader is Star Wars . The whole story was about him. And the sequel trilogy did him no justice . Or Luke for that matter

The way I see this story is as sad story. He wanted to protect Padme from dying because he has had nightmares of her dying while giving birth. So he eventually gave in to the dark side thinking about the "power" to save her but ironically he was the reason she would die all along

You failed to mention what, I think, is one of the most important aspects, of Vader's story arc. Vader didn't suddenly have a change of heart, while watching the Emperor fry Luke. You see, once he had learned Luke's true identity, it was clear to Vader that he had not killed his wife but, rather, had been lied to, in an act of betrayal, by the Emperor. He even asks Luke, way back at Cloud City, to join him and destroy the Emperor, so they could rule the galaxy, together. So, Vader had been stewing on the idea, of crossing the Emperor and getting some payback, for a long time.

@Yung Hollywood if u ever get the time, and ain't got shit to do, you should check it out bro, it really is a dope ass story, I mean I'm not like into sci fi bullshit at all, like aliens n robots n all that wierd ass shit, but I grew up with alot of ppl watching star wars around me n when I got old enough to actually sit down and watch star wars n could understand the story, it actually is pretty dope! N in my opinion, I've seen all nine episodes now, and there ain't one bad movie I don't think, ppl got their own opinion n knock the new ones and some ppl talk shit about some of the older ones but I think all of em are pretty decent foreal foreal! But yea, u ever have a day where ur just gonna sit around the house all day n chill n ain't got shit to do, id say give em a shot, and even if u end up not really liking them or it's just not ur thing, I promise you have watched worse, lmao! I guarantee it!

Fun fact: Palpatine could've given vader a great suit but didn't and instead made him susceptible to lightning, uncomfortable, and always giving vader pain.

He made it weak against lightning so vader would not be able to overtrow him. Right after the events of revenge of the sith he actually tried to kill palpatine after he lied about saving his wife, but he chose to serve palpatine because he would otherwise be killed by him. He couldn't defend himself against the lightning because his lightsaber was taken by kenobi on mustafar and he had not yet constructed a new one.

Anakin Skywalker a.k.a Darth Vader is the best character in the whole of series. The tragic turn his life takes is surely very melancholic.His life has been full of emotions and it is a rollercoaster for all of us too whenever we watch it.

I'm not gonna lie i have never watched the full starwars series i have only watched like 1 or 2 movies and it amazes me at how emotions make people so well in this case like darth vader

Anakin said he hates sand because it's rough and it gets everywhere but really I think it reminds him of his childhood as a slave mixed with anger at not being able to save his mom

actually his hate towards sand was kind of make sense. everything about sand reminds him of his home planet where he grew up as a slave. the dialogue was kind of awkward but during that scene, padme was talking about going to the beach during holiday, in her childhood days, so her memory about it was a good one while sand reminds anakin of something totally the opposite, about tatooine, his mum, his childhood as a slave... so, not much of a good memory..

@@daydayuu yea he couldn't articulate it because he himself didn't understand why he felt that way. Maybe Vader's castle is on Mustafar because that's the last place he was truly Anakin, or it was the last place he saw Padme. Could be both.

Because like Anakin, she was also a slave, so in order to take her they would of had to buy her like they did with Anakin, and that's even if they would of let her go! N with Anakin costing them what it did, I don't think they had the resources to purchase as well!!

U have seen one, in fact if u seen the first 6 episodes then u have seen 6 movies about Darth Vader, because in all reality the first 3 episodes were basically the story of how Vader grew up and became vader, n the second trilogy is how Vader was the leader of the empire, discovered his children and became Anakin again as he sacrificed his self to save his son! So you basically know everything about Vader/Anakin, there is literally nothing else to know

Yea, it seemed odd to believe he was “chosen” but didn’t come from a someone good. It would’ve been idiotic to make him be bored from evil , yet title him “chosen”

I think Anakin’s backstory could’ve been done better. I guess the comics and cartoon show further delved into his fall from the light.

Now that we have the ending. Perhaps a return to the story of the father, son, and daughter is warranted. Anakin as the father and luke and Leah as the son and daughter, making the balancing of the force by training Rey and Ben. Luke's failings brought about the purging by Leah passing her standing to Ben. Rey representing Luke to defeat the evil of the son within Palpatine.

Vader is the friendliest person, he just doesn't like slackers and falsehood,like everyone else, only he shows it in a different way.

Quick question..... Is Vader's helmet melted cuz it was on him when Luke burned his body? Cuz I have always thought it was half melted due to its being on the deathstar when it blew up. Kylo did have ppl searching for Vader relic's and I assumed they found the helmet in the wreckage. I mean that helmet WAS Vader in a sense so when Luke burned the body he burned the body of anakin not Vader therefore no helmet. Not to mention in my opinion it would have a better shot of surviving in the explosion rather than the fire...

Right, I don't get that either! I thought that was pretty good! I mean it's the first time you actually get to see Yoda in a real fight, it's the first time you get to see grievous in a real fight for the first time, and not to mention doku is in several battles, I don't understand, it was a good movie in my opinion!
