One thing I can ask Nigerians is to stop valuing marriage more than individual peace and happiness. I see how single motherhood or getting children out of wedlock is treated like failure in Nigeria. I was about to say the mother was so strong sitting through this without breaking down then I realized that somewhere deep inside she knew that man would eventually kill her child and she spent all that time fighting it with everything. So now, she’s just kind of numb at the eventual death. Her pain would go deeper cos she was watching and saw it unfold. It wasn’t a sudden death in her eyes she’s been broken over it for years.

Late sister Osinachi went through hell in her home cos of her faithfulness to God, her faith and love for God is way beyond. Moreover, her love and respect for the man she called her husband, she adores him and values him while her husband did the opposite. Unfortunately, in most African cultures, the husband is allowed to treat you any way they can and people will not get involved. Women need to realize that it is not loved and God would never want any of His children to go through that kind of trial. God does not look down on separation, nothing is worth your loosing your life. Bottom line people need to stop being afraid to speak out when they are being abused.

Wow 😳 I never realized marriage legal rights was this pathetic, I wouldn't allow nobody denying me access to my child I carried 9 mths and raised and educated until now when the law decides she's your wife and off limits for me her parent🙅. Didn't you read or heard when she brought her back and after a year and three months the man came back begging and she osinachi pleaded them to forgive him, like it was what the lady wanted

My prayer is always seek descernment...the mother had the feeling that the daughter should break away from that marriage but the having been brought up with such a strong Christian teachings she held on ... The devil blinded her to her grave .... RIP QUEEEN OF GOSPEL

Blaming the dead huh...when you are in an abusive marriage especially with the conviction of til death do us part, you'd feel helpless let alone with kids involved. He completely isolated her and make her her feel helpless and lonely
