My personal favourite part of that final walk up to the top of Ultima Thule? You can't auto-walk. You LITERALLY have to press forward.

20:00 I was SO exhausted by this point, physically, mentally, emotionally (Like, I got EVERY Aether Current while doing this zone) and it was only so fitting to reflect my character's journey to this point. Like I said last video, I was a GOBLIN the next day!

The positional audio throughout Ultima Thule is _SO_ good. And that's without the special audio plug-in.

One of the parts I love of the Dead Ends is that besides the first area (sets it all up), the following areas have solved the problem of the previous area. Then makes you think what the next world would have been if there was a 4th section. Oh, and unlike any other trial, the music showed at the beginning that the "boss" in it was not the Endsinger for us, but WE were the boss for her. The music was ours, both what we have seen in phase 1, and then OUR music for the second. It is a rendition of Maker's Ruin, but with the hopes of the Scions in it.

Fun fact: Emet Selch's speech at the end was added near the end of the game, which added two more weeks of development time. Originally, it was stated that after the Scions return, he just snaps and leaves, and Yoshida didn't like how that originally went. He added this to give some closure, and it was definitely worth the two extra weeks.

When I played this, I was ugly crying from the time the twins left and we had to do the "Walk". To the husbands coming back. to talking to Meteon again and that song. And then there was Zenos. This was so amazing as a long time player, I did not play 1.0 but I came into this in the beta. So finally getting an end released so many feelings. And it is so fun to watch all these new players enjoying the game as much as I have.

It's so lovely hearing about everyone's experiences with the game! I only started playing in the last couple years, but the end of endwalker still hit me so hard :,)

I knew the Scions were coming back ever since Thancred disappeared. Honestly, it was the weakest part of the entire expansion for me. And one I couldn't wait to get past. The Walk though, was amazing, especially if you recognized most if not all of the voices.

I remember joining a random stream community (was browsing the FFXIV category looking for somewhere to lurk) who invited people to join the streamer on their final 'walk' in Endwalker... there were like 20 or so of us who showed up to greet them as they stepped off the Teny-Tiny-Toy-Boat. As they went through the zone's quests.. as each Scion was lost, some of 'us' disappeared. It wasn't till she got to Raha's part that they realized there were only 4 people left near her. At the point with Alisaie and Alphi, is was only her two Mods left, and they poofed after that cutsceen... so they were 'truly' alone... When they came out of the cutsceen after Emet and co shows up.. we were all lined back up on either side of the dungeon entrance :)

AWW THATS SO PRECIOUS

I just played this last night and hearing Alisae cry broke me. I love the twins and what they were becoming, I hated the thought of losing them

"If the despair I command is a raging river, then fear is but a trickling stream. It can do nothing to alter my flow" Oh you poor little starbirb.... don't you know? The thing about Streams, is over time they 'become' raging rivers. Even the smallest of streams can alter the flow of a River given time.

Basically 3 hours of tally?! Lets goo!! Thanks for the hard work of editing and I hope you have fun in Dawntrail!

31:00 --- 10 bugs that you forgot Esuna... Okay, you didnt need it - good on you: 90% of healers forget about it and people die of doom ^.^ (or you get the best healer: he who doesnt know that they can remove anything to begin with >.

Now that you finished 5.0 Endwalker, it's time to hear Your Answer to Venat's question she asked back in Elpis. "Has your journey been good? Has it been worthwhile?" That being said there is a few interesting tidbits I love of the game: - At 20:31 when Meteion recollects what Hermes' said to her, you can notice the animators made a very subtle change in Meteion's expression from confused to her eyes shaking and wings on her ears slowly drooping down. - For the Dead Ends, all of the "stars" you visit are actually some of the stars that Meteion mentions in her report back in Elpis. One star suffering deadly plague or extreme environmental degradation, one star in a state of violent conflict, and lastly one star where the citizens discarded everything leading to sorrow, leaving them only with joy until it lost its savor from it. - One thing that isn't ever really elaborated on much but has interesting connotation is Zeno's name. When the Garleans learn of what Zenos did after the Tower of Babil, they strip Zenos of his title and name the Garlean word for traitor, Viator. Viator is Latin for Traveler, which is the moniker given to Azem, the Traveller. - In phase 2 of the Endsinger fight (53:43) you hear The Maker's Ruin, the song associated to be the Warrior of Light's theme song as it's used in various moments during our journey (Against Ultima, Ascian Prime, our final fight with Omega, the song "More Than Truth" which is used a lot in Shadowbringers when we are with Ardbert) is the main motif during the phase as the tide has turned to us with the light overpowering Meteion's darkness and despair as well as her no longer doing much damage to us and just flailing her wings back and forth at us. - There are only three(technically four) times that the song Flow is used with lyrics. The first time during our fight with Venat in Elpis(Flow Together), the second during our fight with Hydaelyn at the Mothercrystal where she teaches us "a brighter melody" to show Meteion. And we do show her when its used again after Meteion touches our hand and experiences our memories and journey through Etheris (57:38). Showing her a bit of what gives life meaning with the help of what Venat has taught us. The last time we hear it is if you let the credits roll through their entirety, Flow Together plays at the end when we are walking to the future with our friends, passing the Ancients, the past. - At 1:08:53 the teleporter beeps at the same intervals of a slowly beating heart, ending with a flattening ring at the end. I love this game and all the minor details and themes given throughout the journey. Easily one of the best games I experienced storywise and so glad I gave a shot to.

I'll never get tired of watching peoples reaction to the Endwalker finale.

What always made me go “huh” at the end was, they claim Zenos arived on the “last” ferry, but at the end cutscene we pass people like yugiri and lyse waving from their homelands, so they never actually went to sharlayan themselves on the final ferry

Doing the zenos fight as a blm or healer is funny because it extra explains why you are so injured xD
