The Ending of Ahsoka FULLY EXPLAINED - DID YOU SEE IT?

Ойын-сауық

At the end of Ahsoka episode 8, Baylan Skoll walks towards the edge of the Father's outstretched hand, as he sees the glimmering mountain peak in the distance. This is the same scene from The Clone Wars where Anakin Skywalker followed the path to the mountain and met the Father.

There are no easy answers when it comes to how to handle Balan’s character after Ray’s death, but I think recasting him is the best option. Simply killing him off-screen would just be cheap and insulting to Ray’s performance.

best way to go about it is say he becomes the son and it changes his physical appearance just like the son was able to transform. then cast someone who looks like the son and have sam witwer do the voice from tcw for the son. so it's baylan's character but with a different appearance.

I don’t think recasting Baylan would necessarily be a bad thing. A good example is Dumbledore getting recast after the 2nd Harry Potter movie due to Dumbledore’s original actor Richard Harris passing away and Michael Gambon replacing him. I thought both actors were great and brought the best out of the character in similar but different ways. Hopefully Baylan can be the same. RIP Ray Stevenson. 🙏

Nobody is replacing the son or the daughter or the father. Baylon already told us what he seeks. Could Anakin be the new Father? The balance between the dark and the light? He was standing at the peak where the Father statue is pointing and it is what the Father wanted in the Clone Wars arc. That would also be poetic considering Ahsoka could be the Daughter. Baylon could end up being the son as well given his orange lightsaber indicating he is neither Jedi or Sith (just as the Son proclaimed in the Clone Wars). Just a theory but I think it’s possible.

So Ezra saw the mural on the temple in rebels. How cool would it have been to have had Ezra and Ahsoka have a conversation about what happened in the Mortis Arc just to introduce new fans to the concepts. Ezra probably has seen the statues if he was on the planet that long, and sensed a dark energy that he protected himself from. Ahsoka could have asked "What do you know about this planet?" and he could have told her about the statues that were just like the mural on the temple. This could have lead to a discussion about Ahsoka's experience on Mortis, and how one of the dark jedi that came there with them, Baylon, is looking for something on this planet, something not related to Thrawn. We also could have used a scene with Shin trying to rejoin Thrawn and being rejected, as Thrawn did not like Baylon and judges padawans by their Masters. This would have explained why she was still on the planet and joining the bandits. Also would have appreciated a scene of Ezra escaping in the shuttle. I liked the show overall but including the above information in epi 7+8 would have made it a 9 out of 10.

Ahsoka has always been an unconventional Jedi like her master. Ahsoka & Anakin understand that the fatal flaw of the Jedi-Council was their lack of humanity & faith in the Force. Family & friends, attachment is NOT weakeness. Ahsoka isn’t mad at Sabine because Ezra is family. They will find a way to protect “the greater good” & not abandon family. Luke with his father. Anakin never leaving “snips”. The Jedi besides using child-soldiers, didn’t nurture the emotions of the next-generation which lead to the trauma of both Anakin & Ahsoka & countless other force-sensitives youth. The whole Themes of Star Wars talk about this over, & over. Edit: Ahsoka’s destiny is probably to stop Baylan & the Mother. Before reuniting with Ezra. Thrawn not only has Anakin’s apprentice to deal with, but also his children.

He hasn’t “incorporated” the ones he’s alluded to them. Star Wars had an history of getting their fans excited for lure that never comes to fruition. It would have been so easy to finish the finale with some monumental event to show the power of the father and to get people excited about what’s coming. This would be like if they closed Avengers Infinity War with Thanos looking at his gauntlet, rather than showing him snapping away everyone.

The purpose of Skoll and Hati is to *eat* the sun and moon, so rather than pursuing sides, Baylan is very power-hungry and anti-Jedi so his ambition is to devour and destroy the light, while Hati is struggling with her morality, refuses to attack Ahsoka and Sabine then later retreats to leave them be when Ahsoka senses that struggle, so Hati will devour and destroy the darkness

@@cm3368 Yes, she would have been wrecked. Ahsoka was there and could handle her with ease and did so already. She ran because she was defeated, outnumbered, and uninterested in Ahsoka's offer. Again, Baylan has no means to destroy the light. He wants to end the cycle of light dominance and then dark dominance, the switching between Jedi dominance and Sith dominance. He doesn't support the idea of the return of Thrawn and the Empire or the return Of the Jedi; he seeks permanent peace.

About the pool. It just occurerd to me that Odin gained (some of) his knowledge from a well where the head of Mimir was. Now this wouldn't link to Star Wars, BUT since Baylan (and Shin) got their names from Norse myths, _maybe_ the mountain is the well/pool that the mother drank from? This would actually make sense, if Baylan wanted that kind of knowledge.

😅It's pretty obvious that Baylan is to become the father. His light saber is not completely red, hes also standing on the hand of the father and he's compassionate yet firm. Most importantly, he wants to see a balance and end to chaos, its all right in front of us by every dialogue and action. The mother can be changed to the mother of the night sisters. Maybe the father condemned her for misusing the force and the nightsisters have been trying to flee with the remains of her temple/prison to free her, hence the cargo they've brought onto the chimera.... Just a guess, but it all seems to fit a little, especially Baylan.

0:50 *Theory, you gotta get the lore right. The Ones were not overseers of the galaxy. They were a family of force gods that originally lived in the galaxy like everyone else, but retreated and banished themselves to Mortis because their crazy powers threatened the existence of the galaxy. This is explained in the Clone Wars and comics. The Whills are the observers, not the Ones. The Ones had no ability in current canon to watch over galactic events. All we know is that they had immense foresight abilities and force senses that trumped anybody elses’; hence why the Son knew of Palpatine’s plot. They are the gods with the little g. They aren’t overseers. The Whills are described as being the capital G gods. They are the universal overseers in the Star Wars universe. You gotta get this lore right.*

The father days in the Mortis arc, that to create you must destroy, the same Baylan says to Ahska. And if you look at that weird brown cloak that Baylan wears, when he stands on the statue, and then look at the wide shot of the statue, you see the vegetation, looking like a brown-ish cloak on the father's shoulder. Coincidence? I also would like to posit, that the murals/depictions of the three, that we see in the story, are not their own creation, but were created by civilisations aware of them. So someone on Peridia was aware of the three, and put enough import into their existence, that they made the statues and maybe the place the father's hand pointed to.

I also would like to add, that there is the episode title "The Jedi, the Witch and the Warlord," which opens very intriguing possibilities, if Thrawn is the Wardrobe, pardon me the Warlord, the reason they come to the enchanted land, and the Witchers are well... the evil Witches, and which of the Jedi is the Lion? They say Aslan is on the move. And as Aslan is in a way the father... now, there ARE interesting opportunities. Either Anakin is Aslan, then Baylan might be Edmund, or if Anakin was Edmund, who betrayed the cause and was redeemed, then Baylan could be aslan, aka the father. Who beats me for crazy theories?

It could be that Baylan is being called by the Father (not the son). Mirroring the scene from clone wars where Anakin looks up at the citadel. When Anakin arrived, he found the father waiting for him. What a great way to reveal that Anakin is now the father or at least hint at it, having Baylan show up and find Anakin sitting there on the throne. Likewise, we all think that Anakin shows up at the end of season one to give Ahsoka the nod of approval for her deeds but perhaps he is there for a more profound reason. Almost like Anakin is checking in on his daughter and son. Making sure the pieces are all in place for the coming transition. Either way I am so excited for this. Clone Wars is my favorite Star Wars and the Mortis god episodes are some of my favorite. Dave Filoni is the man. He should be a part of every star wars project

Offering one thought. How would the Son be linked to "ending the cycle" between Siths and Jedis, as Baylan mentions? Plus, if I remember correctly. each time Abeloth/The Mother is freed, major imbalances in the Force occur Then, it would make sense for Baylan to seek out the Mother in order to stop these imbalances/cycles, as she can be seen (in a way) as the cause behind. Again, If I remember correcly, she became Abeloth waaaaay before Siths and Jedis even existed, so it makes sense (at least for me) that she's the embodiement of the "beginning" (quoting Baylan) of the continuing wars bethween these factions. Hope it makes sense.
