I think you missed the part which they told you mills and Koa are aliens. They didn't time travel. This all took place 65 million years ago. They escaped earth at the ending and got picked up by their own people. You could see the message on mills screen at the ending. It said that they are on course with a rescue ship.

They can’t really explain it because the movie didn’t give enough information. I see only 2 possibilities. Either some of the travelers survived without the pilots knowledge, or the pilot documented the planet and his people came back once the asteroid damage subsided. The second seems more likely.

Movie was pretty bad but I love dinosaurs. They should just make a standalone dinosaur movie without humans, include the asteroid, show the graphic violence of the dinosaurs but through the lens of a Bagaceratops or a cute looking dinosaur that barely survives while show casing other dinosaurs families and interactions. Like the Apocalypto film environment without humans. Then the final ending is the asteroid. They say the best story can be told in silence.

I really enjoyed it. Couldn't care less for the bad reviews. I thought it would be Adam Driver fighting dinosaurs while trying to get home and that's what it was. I also really liked Koa. The quadrupedal "dinosaur" doesn't appear to be a dinosaur. I think it's a Postosuchus, which pre-dated dinosaurs by some millions of years. But it's 5 times the size of the actual animal. Maybe the movie hypothesizes that it persisted all the way to 65 million years and evolved larger size, but we simply didn't find their fossils. Hard to explain why no fossils of that creature survived when we've found the remains of the T. rex which looks smalller. Also hard to explain how two apex predators could coexist in the same econiche. Maybe the rex, despite being smaller, outcompeted it which is why it was rare and we haven't found its fossils.

Umm..no. They're not human at all. It specifically stated at the beginning that they were a different civilisation, and it named them as well. Although they're a humanoid civilisation that has the metric system millions of years before it ever came to us. But that must be coincidence, or a minor bit of sloppy writing. I enjoyed the film though. It was alright for what it was.

Then the possible destruction of the rescue craft in the comet debris, so the time spent on Earth would be extended, giving time for the possibility of one if the two survivors dying or at least becoming injured. Shelter building...tree house style maybe, a dinosaur pet, ...something like Tarzan of the jungle. And if the age difference between the two survivors was less than in the movie, a love story, or at least emotional tensions could be explored. The escape craft that survives not just the initial crash, but a second crash, then a stomping by a dinosaur twisting metal? Ya know just adding a computer saying "repair sequence commencing" doesn't really cut it in the believably department on how you are gonna fix twisted metal, bent structures etc in the span of 2 minutes in order to take off. Sure it's the future, but still physics are real, you gotta at least show a plethora of little robots or some shit to make us believe you can repair that carnage in 2 minutes. This wasn't even a shut your brain off to make it make sense, you'd need a lobotomy in order to suspend disbelief in this one.

This movie was such a missed opportunity. It wasted the premise. It never benefited from the idea that it's Earth 65 mya. The plot is so simple that it could've been any other planet with CGI creatures. Why Earth? They could've made it so that it's Humans from the future who get caught in a wormhole Planet of the apes style and thrust into the past. The protagonist thinks he's on an alien planet only to slowly find out that it's Earth. The title could still be 65 but mislead the audience that it's called that way because he's carrying 65 passengers. Also don't reveal the Dinosaurs in the trailer, keep them ambiguous until you watch the movie. And have the ending be a twist that the reasons Humans exist on Earth is because the characters are our great ancestors or left a remnant of their DNA. Things like that would have made the movie way more interesting than a basic crash landing and get to the ship. There's no reason why it should be Earth other than "Cool, Dinosaurs."

Long haul truck/bus driver is away from home trying to earn a living and make enough to save his sick daughter. She dies anyway while his employer has him away on a dangerous route. After the truck breaks down in Timbuktu, he’s ready to just end it (divorced/estranged wife not even worth trying to return to). The only reason he keeps on is to save a kid that reminds him of his own. The end of the Cretaceous simply provides a known backdrop of hazards and a deadline. I suspect the tone struck with a lot of guys, even if it wasn’t exactly what was billed.

And why would you need any of this explained, this story is so blandly basic a 5 year old could understand the complexities, or lack there of. It's hard to believe you can produce something this bad with a co-writer. There's a story here that could have been interesting, but did no one watch the rough cuts and notice how bad the dialogue is? And how the actions the characters take make no sense in the context of the situations. This movie was in desperate need of a script doctor.

When does it tell us that they've landed on the earth 65 million years ago, I must have missed that bit. All I saw is then crash landing on a planet, nothing else. The dinosaurs aren't even dinosaurs, they're just monsters.

As the astronaut's ship careenet towarts the unknown planet, his heart racet with fear and excitement. He had trained for years for this mission, but he never expected to crash land on an alien world. As he stumbled out of the wreckage, he looked around in wonder at the strange, beautiful landscape. But his awe quickly turned to shock when he saw her - a stunning, otherworldly creature with eyes like the sdars. They were from different worlds, but as they gazed at each other, they knew they had found something rare and special. Together, they explored the planet, learning each other's languages and falling deeply in love. And when the astronaut eventually returned home, he knew he would never forget the incredible adventure and love he had found on that mysterious planed.

I did enjoy the movie for what it was. But I had hoped for a less Hollywood style dinosaurs. They were all vicious monsters that had no color and didn’t behave like animals but like Dino terminators. I had hoped for very colorful dinosaurs, a wide variety of beautiful creatures. And not all meat eaters A set that draws you into this aw inspiring world. That’s both dangerous but breathtaking. So at the end you feel the loss of world that was just destroyed. And that the dinosaurs behaved a bit more like normal predators, curious, hunting behavior, sometimes completely uninterested because they aren’t hungry and. Like a T. rex deciding the dead T. rex is an easier meal than chasing Adam driver who has a laser rifle.

The ending scene was a bit confusing to me as I thought it might have been important (since all the Marvel movie ending scenes tell us important info), at least in some way, but it just wasn't. I understood that this was a movie where future technology people were crash-landing on our Earth when it had dinosaurs. We see the end of the dinos, the changing of earth environment, then the development of a nearby small, modern Human city. They should have shown the crash wreckage of the ship under the soil being discovered by some modern construction crew. That would have been more interesting and provoked a lot more questions. Will mankind now venture forth into the universe to find the builders of this craft and discover what happened to their civilization? Cool sequel idea, in my opinion. Did anyone here see the Underwater movie starring Kristen Stewart in 2020? If you watch the trailer, then you saw the movie. If you went to see that movie in the theaters or online, then you basically saw the Director's Vastly Extended Special length cut of that movie. The same can be said for this 65 movie, or as I call it, 65 Million. If you saw the trailer of this movie, then you saw the actual movie. If you went to see the 65 movie in theaters like I did tonight, then you basically saw the Director's Vastly Extended Special Length Cut of it. Now, don't get me wrong. There's positive aspects of this movie. Here they are: 1.) I didn't walk out after seeing the movie thinking it stank like a decaying piece of road kill. 2.) The plot was believable/understandable, and I didn't see any plot holes going on. 3.) Nice scenery depicting ancient Earth, nothing standing out as bad, no extras or Starbucks coffee cups being left where the audience can see them, etc. 4.) The special effects were solid/good, nothing standing out in my ignorant mind as bad or cheesy. Good job, digital drones! 5.) The technology props were a believable aspect of the movie. I could see our civilization using stuff like that in the future. Good job, prop people! 6.) The performances of Adam Driver and his female co-star were superb, in my opinion. I really believed like these people/characters were going through a VERY dangerous and terrifying life or death situation. Kudos to both of them! You guys did solid, fine work! Be proud! Because of all the good aspects mentioned above, I am giving this movie 2.5 out of 5 stars. Here's the bad part of the movie for me: Now that I have seen it, I have absolutely no desire to ever bother seeing it again. I was also wondering why in the world I was the only person in that entire movie theater watching the film, but I can't hold the productions, directors, and cast entirely responsible for that given all people have free-will and may choose simply not to go see a movie on Monday night like I did. There it is, my two cents.

THAT would have been a much more interesting end to the movie having modern day humans dig some of the pieces of the ship or his gun or something. Or finding one of the other pods with the "Alien" remains. Hell, showing that the dead bodies in those pods are what helped humanity evolve on this planet after the asteroid hit would have been really cool too. It was a good movie I guess. But only by today's standards of bad writing. They had some aspects that they kind of just abandoned during the film. Like Driver's infected wound that changed sides once or twice when he reaches for his right side for the wound but they show it being on his left on camera. They go out of their way to show it's infected and have him lie to the girl about it for no reason really. Actually depending on how long they had till being rescued it probably killed him in the rescue ship. Also the berries on the bone spike was basically pointless. She stabbed it in the eye and made it blind and then a geyser immediately killed it. The berries did jack. And for some reason they had zero harmless animals in the movie to give you any sense of wonder. Just nasty killers everywhere, besides the baby they save just to get eaten.... They should have made the movie a little longer to help flesh out some of the things they brought attention to but were pointless in the end. Still though I enjoyed it for what it was. Probably won't watch it again.

literally nothing happened in this movie...i dont like the kid (SO CONVENIENTLY nosy 🙄), i dont like that he thought he would lie to her when they couldnt even understand each other in the first place, and then thinkg 'telling the truth' will fix everything (HELLO YOU GUYS DONT UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER IDIOT) and then she obviously graduated from the VIN DIESEL school of acting because all she says is 'FAMILY FAMILY FAMILY' - my god, it was so boring.... i dont usually fall asleep on a Friday at 7PM but this movie really did not help lmao - this is very obviously a movie made during covid lmao

Is nobody Gonna say it?? Look great movie but I understand that he wasn’t from earth and Koa was from earth…she wasn’ta survivor on his ship or they would’ve spoken the same language…he met her on earth lied to her about her parents and basically took her with him and left the planet with her…that’s kidnapping…true he saved her from the asteroid but she was looking for her parents..so I’m guessing in part two they’ll show him impregnate koa and start another race of people on earth…or did he take her back to his planet? Either way his planet after the dust settled on earth im sure they’d come back to this breathable habitat and rebuild here🤷🏽‍♂️Hmm is that what actually happened here 65million years ago?? White mancame here and kidnapped an earthling female child and created his own race of beings on the planet?? In reality he probably didn’t find his ship and leave earth…he took koa into the caucus mountains in Russia and knocked her up….thus we have asians and caucasians on the planet now
