The reason non-shorts videos/channels are down in viewership across the board is because KZread has been heavily recommending Shorts videos. Just an FYI for anyone wondering why Shorts are getting tons of views while regular content seems to be dipping for the past month :)

Doesn't matter what KZread promotes and doesn't promote, the foundation of the platform is a community building tool. If you have a community, they'll watch the content you upload no matter what it is. The recommended, search optimization, bounce rate, etc... are just bonuses. Courage has a shit ton of fans, like legitimate fans not people who come and go for each video, so this shouldn't really impact him as much. You also don't want people who come and go like Mr.Beast for example. These are soo difficult to fidelize (because they have different profiles, different interests, etc...) so useless to grow a business/brand. The audience you would want to target is people who fuck with you enough to buy your shit and support your brand throughout time.

True but unfortunately the KZread algorithm sucks and for example if he were to play a game with a smaller view count the his channel would dip down in likes and views
