In total, she worked with 15 infants, aged from eight weeks to young toddlers. Strict on-set rules meant each child was only allowed to be part of a scene for 20 minutes at a time, hence why so many were needed. See if you can spot the different babies :)

Boundless and inexhaustible like the universe itself, Jodie Comer creates in this amazing movie a whole world, the world of a Woman, withstanding in the face of an unimaginable catastrophe, carrying the quiet light and warmth of the love of a mother and wife through inhuman trials and horrors, through all-consuming fear and despair, continuing to be herself and illuminating the life with the eternal beauty of the divine plan for a Human Being. After watching “The End We Start From” as well as “The Last Duel”, “Prima Facie”, “Talking Heads” and some earlier works (“White Princess”, “Remember Me”, “Thirteen”, “Killing Eve”, etc.) I have to presume with great level of confidence that Jodie Comer is the third epoch-making actress in the world cinematography - after Katharine Hepburn and Meryl Streep.

SPOILER ALERT... Good story except the ending ruined it. All that build up and hoping she gets to her husband again and then the end scene is just FLAT. The reunion should have been emotional. I understand they're supposed to have been through the trauma of everything that's happened to them but even more reason for an emotional reunion. We didn't even get to see them together again bc of the way the scene was filmed. Really annoying.
