This was a blessed message for me since I needed to hear this as I am struggling to stay holy. I keep desiring to want to go to the nighlife lately and especially today. I just want to be Holy but it seems like I keep desiring to do the opposite lately. Please forgive me God and fill me with the Holy Spirit so I may think about the heavenly things and do what is noble in your eyes.

You describe something many of us are struggling with. I constantly struggle to be holy or righteous. What helps me is even when I falter my conscious is always poking me saying no or don't do that again. That is the Holy Spirit working in me. We need to recognize that because satan will say you've done it now so it ain't going to matter if you do it again God's already disappointed with you. God is smiling when we immediately recognize that what we're doing is wrong. That is part of the repentance process. I pray we may all move forward in our fight to be Holy

And willow bark is also a natural source of aspirin (whether God is providing relief for your pain, or comforting & sustaining your heart).

Yes, 40 years ago, about 4 weeks after being prayed for the Baptism in the Holy Ghost on 1-1-83...I was at work and still had not yet spoke in tongues. As I was on my way to 'clock out', and was asking God why not, He said, "focus on getting closer to Jesus, and it will come". After all, the job of the Holy Ghost is to focus on Jesus, not Himself. Not long after that I was asked to leave the Baptist Church where I got saved at because I was witnessing to the people about the Holy Ghost Power. They kept telling me I was only a 'babe' in Christ. How true, "for out of the mouth's of babes...." (Mt. 21:16 & Mt. 11-25). Thankfully I had been reading/praying 5 hrs./day since I got saved, and was sure in my Savior, or I may have given up on God. I told them "they would have to answer to God for what they were doing, for I had just told God that week that I didn't care if the Catholic Church (raised in) ex-communicated me (sentenced me to Hell) for going to another Church. And here you are,my brothers in Christ, kicking me out". And he said, "I'll be glad to answer to God". And I pointed my finger at him and said, "you don't know what you just said". Then left...not in anger.

It seems like many churches (& believers) these days have reduced “speaking in tongues” to mean speaking in random gibberish that only Adonai can understand. But during the Shavuot (Pentecost) after Yeshua (Jesus) rose from the dead & there was that first outpouring of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), there would’ve been many Jewish people from the Diaspora visiting Jerusalem, since Shavuot is one of the pilgrimage festivals. Many of these people from the Diaspora spoke the language of the nation in which they now lived. Yeshua’s followers who just received the outpouring of the Spirit were testifying (witnessing) to these people in their own native languages so that they could understand & come to know Yeshua as their Messiah. So the “speaking in tongues” had a function for spreading the Gospel. In the present day, when I go on medical mission trips to Central & South America, we use local translators (usually university students) to communicate with the people we’re serving. Sure, learning other languages is something that can be learned in a classroom & studied. But I think we kinda forget that it really is a gift, especially to enjoy learning & practicing, & to be seen as a way of making friends who speak other languages, & sharing your testimony. (While the apostles & early believers were home-bodies, who grew up in small fishing villages, & didn’t have “Rosetta Stone” or elective classes in school to learn other languages.)

Love the account of the church with the little c; I had a similar experience with this couple in their home when I was a new believer, they prayed over me for, what like seemed forever and said just make a noise, so think I groaned and they said that's it - It wasn't I ( weeks later ) I was in the home of a Godly man in prayers and The Lord baptised me in His Spirit without any laying on of hands and I spoke in a fluent tongue unknown to me and felt like I was in Heaven; A sovereign work of God, which nobody would have known about, had I not told them, and I'm so glad God did it that way, Praise Him :

If it had worked in the home of the first couple, I would wonder if people (either the couple, you as the recipient, or onlookers) would think that the power came from that couple (or that it was them causing your spiritual response) rather than from the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). Maybe Adonai chose to delay your response until a more “opportune time”? It’s still a powerful testimony!

This type of sense of humor, humble wisdom from God, acceptance of people as they are, and focused messages of this man can only come from Holy Spirit speaking through him. In the beginning of his message, I thought he was going to talk about the divinely appointed automobile verse train encounter; however, the mesage was divinely led in a different direction. This man MUST be, by prayer and obedience to the messages he delivers from the heart of God, protected at all cost.
